Do you really think he's going to sign a new contract with us if we go up? A club very likely to come back down? With 12 months left. He can basically just refuse to sign and we wither have to sell on the cheap (which means more clubs would be in for him) or lose him for nothing.

I have no idea what's going through his head, but it was made pretty clear before that his agent is looking for something better.
He could sign either a one year contract with us or a longer one which could be terminated by him if we go back down.

Anyone watching the programme on sky about transfer deadline day with the agents, players and clubs. Very interesting, can see why they drag on so long and how much say agents have

Apparently Everton preparing to offer 15 million reported in Daily Mail. I think they have to more than double that for us to switch the fax machine on.

Reports saying Lampard has been sacked announced tomorrow, if true I can’t see them making a move for illiman.

Yeah, very much from the agents perspective and easy to see how they manipulate the player into moving when they are not 100% keen on the move.

Sasa Kalajdzic a perfect example, he was unsure about moving to Wolves. The agent really pushed the deal through and Kalajdzic moves then gets an ACL injury that rules him out for the season.

No surprise they avoided talking about numbers in relation to their cut of a transfer deal. Hardly any of these agents are looking out for the player, they are looking out of themselves.

If he’s got any sense he’d stay away from Everton at the min, clubs a mess.
1 season with United in prem then he’ll be a free agent and be able to sign a much bigger contract at another clubb

Some amazing stuff on here today..... possible admin... that's a long way from being unable to register new players. I'm guessing we have a bit of a cash flow problem but that's probably all it is. Hopefully we just need a short term loan setting up to tide us through until May (not September as one mischievous poster wrote). Selling any first-teamers would be unforgivable in our position.
And whose going to give us a short term loan

If KM was still here he’s be gone for £15m
If McCabe was still Chairman the bid wouldn't have reached £15 million in the first place

All of the other club Chairmen know each others traits and ambitions for their clubs.

Bidding would have started at £3 million and he'd have gone for £2.5 after McCabes initial rejection and subsequent panic when no higher bid was received

Interesting from Everton, also heard that they’ve pushed it up to £22 million. My only worry is the club MAY let him go to get rid of this transfer thing and pay off the bills. If Everton bump it up to 30+ million then would you sell and bring someone else in before the window closes or would you keep him for the promotion push. Decisions decisions. I want him to stay desperately.

Sell him now and risk 150m + parachute payments and PL exposure? What would be the point?

I refuse to believe that the Prince or the new owner can't stump up the readies, or get a short term loan to tide us over until the summer if needed, at which point we receive a huge capital injection.

Really? I've not read anything about this on the forum.

Absolutely nothing to be gained by selling now.

If new owner sanctioned the sale of Ndiaye - it would be an horrendous decision.

Current players who could hack it in the Prem- Anel, Bogle, Egan, Ndiaye- selling right now not an option if the owners have our best interests at heart.

Read rumours section it’s in there…..also Everton won’t risk over £30m on a player who’s unproven in the premier league when they’re up to the eyes in debt from the stadium & strong candidates for relegation.

Seems financially suicidal

Just do not sell! Utter madness.

Keep him = better chance of promotion.

Once promoted... (if)

Offer great terms, big sell on clause if relegated... using common sense valuation.
Assuming he does well, he'll be worth twice as much in an international market!

If you retain prem status, build around him or sell on your terms and reinvest in more talent.

FFS... do not get pressured into giving another top talent away. See Kyle Walker, Harry Macquire, DCL, etc.

Can the admins move this to the correct section
It should be in the rumours section which shows this has already been discussed.
It's basically a non story as Everton won't pay our valuation and we don't have a replacement lined up.

I keep saying this, outside Sheffield United N'Diaye isn't rated as this top player, they all still think our star payer and best player is Berge.
The Everton fans would go mad if they were pinning their hopes on an untested Championship player.
Thats why the report is saying it's a 15 million bid because most of the media think thats a fair bid based on his general valuation.

They’ll be rumours all this window about various players .. with a sale going through a the club in an excellent position for auto promotion I just cannot see neither the current / potential new owners sanctioning any out goings .
If we don’t get promoted ( perish the thought ) there’s a few we will lose in the summer as contracts will be run down up & parachute payments stopped . But for the moment enjoy where we are ⚔️

I always understood that as we managed to stay up more than 1 year in the PL then we are due 3 years of parachute payments.
However of course, it the PL payments would be reduced again, seen it quoted as just 15 million.

I thought they had some kind of soft embargo in place as they've overspent on players and funding the new ground. Sure it's been discussed recently on Talksport
