When it's worked, it's worked fine for me.
Decent laptop (one 2-3 years old, one 4-5 years). Both Windows 10. Once connected to the TV via HDMI cable, once just on the laptop screen and once tab-casting to the telly via Chromecast. All three instances using Chrome as the browser, over a VPN. VPN speed tops out at about 4mbps, on a 100mbps Virgin cable connection, through a custom VPN router connected to the Virgin SuperHub.
I get occasional stuttering / buffering - maybe a second or two tops, that doesn't really affect the viewing of the match. Haven't tried the Android app on my phone or tablet yet, because I've not needed to.
