I usually err on the side of caution, and really don't like to get carried away getting giddy with stuff.

However, I've seen us smash 9 teams, arguably 11, and seen and heard some fantastic football. The way we play is just too much for opposition teams.

So I'm sticking my neck out now and saying if we win on Friday I will be confident of promotion this season.

For me this is the next and last acid test.

After all these years I'm not one to get carried away...but I am...just a little bit.
On the evidence so far there's only one team that can stop this. And it's us.
We are not only the best footballing side in this division but there's no soft centre...I'm liking the fact we can do the dirty stuff and take a card when it's needed.

I think Tufty was playing mind games too. Telling the rest of the Champ we’re top, but we’re still going to get a lot better. Telling the players not to let up.

Much less severe on RS with a narrower audience.

Leon was absolutely immense - Tufty picked him out and he was absolutely right to do so.
