So you're saying, last seasons total for the play offs will stand, but the relegation total won't? Logical
I think you will see a lower total for the play offs, around 69 points.
And a higher total for relegation, approx 52 points.
Considering the current occupants of the play-off positions are on the following points;
Forest - 67 with 8 games left
Leicester - 61 with 9 games left
Swansea - 61 with 8 games left
Cardiff - 58 with 9 games left
By your "logic" Cardiff will only pick up 11 points from a possible 27, Swansea 8 points from a possible 24, Leicester 8 points from a possible 27 and Forest 2 points from a possible 24!
That means for the final play-off place to be 69 points then one of those 4 sides would have to display RELEGATION form from here on in.
And we would have to pick up 16 from a possible 24 into the bargain!
Dream on Robbie!
