If we don't go up will we be stronger or weaker next season?

  • Stronger: Wilder will improve defence, sign a top striker and keep our key players

  • Weaker: Wilder will buy/loan more players who are sideways move at best + we'll lose key players

  • No change: We'll be far better than most but not title winners.

Don't see how Anel can be classed as one of the better players we are in fear of losing. Since Souttar's injury he's looked every bit the bomb scare we've always known.
He's not going to the Prem, he's not going to the top league in Germany, Spain, France or Italy, he's not going to another Championship club either.
Easily replaceable when he ends up in Turkey, or Sweden or Norway

The organiser at Centre Half got injured, we didn't replace him like for like and we have not looked comfortable since

He only looks a bomb scare at times cos he’s next to Robinson!! Our leaky defensive record since Soutars injury is no coincidence. Wilder should have known that a replacement was the priority in January - we are suffering now. That is why Anel is looking worse.

Maybe, but you can't put the blame on someone else. He's not learned anything from Souttar is another way of looking at it, and if he needs someone to hold his hand and walk him through games he's obviously not mentally strong enough

Hecky didn't get us up 1st time, he managed it at the 2nd attempt. I don't recall so much negativity about our chances in the 22/23 Championship season after we failed to go back up at the 1st attempt. I'll cling to the fact Hecky managed it on the 2nd attempt as my hopium should we not be successful this season.

He'll be in the last year of his contract though. If he's not willing to sign an extension then we'll be forced to sell rather than see him go for nothing 12 months later. But honestly I don't think he is Prem class and I don't see him being successful at a bigger club than ourselves. he's a very good Championship player though so whilever we're at this level he's a great asset.

He’ll go to Italy

While that is what I think Harry was implying, that is not what he said, so I just wanted to clarify that he's under contract until June 26. And we will not be forced to sell, we will just opt to

Souza would be the only definite departure

Anel and Hamer could easily stay. Where would Hamer go? He's a niche player, especially given the minimum we'd want to recoup after what we paid. Who spends big on him?

Anel won't attract major money offers, and in any case is replaceable

Next in line are Oné and Peck

Cooper and Burrows won't go anywhere. Nor will Arblaster due to injury

We'll be strong again next season if still in this league
