he looked a class above the rest and in the first half I felt sorry for him because of how the team were performing around him. Shame about the penalty but other than that it was a sensational debut by all accounts. What a player.

I don’t think anyone is actually comparing Norwood's debut to TC’s, we’d need to sign Bale to make that comparison!!... I think the point is we’ve got a good one here... and it sounds like he ran the show having only been with the team for a day!
He’s just what we’ve been looking for and it’s good times ahead!

He did. At Norwich, I think. He looked like a quick, tricky winger and played with attacking confidence!

He scored a hat-trick in the reserves the prior week. Talk about false advertising! Loved his wholeheartedness but a goal scorer he wasn’t. Remember Merson commenting that he just couldn’t shake him off when we played Pompey and won.
