Just another perspective.
Travelled down with wife, daughter and her partner who is a Leeds fan but who comes to games with us regularly, His dad is a Hull season ticket holder so Adam sat with him yesterday and we all met him half hour before the game at the Hull turnstile. After spending the previous couple of hours in the bar and streets with Blades fans the build up at the other end was almost funerial. Honestly, apart from on odd few they had no spark or spirit.
Adam says during the game they were panicing and scathing about their team, particularly when we kept possession with the O'Le's late first half. He says Blades fans made twice as much noise and looked a seething, bubbling, awesome mass throughout the game. He was praying for us to win because by full time he just didn't think Hull fans were anywhere near behind their team like Blades fans were. Hull didn't sell all their tickets and many who went were obviously not football followers.
After the game Adam's dad said he couldn't believe we could play such sophisticated football in League 1 and he thought the game was going our way until it turned.
All credit to the team and to our fans as well.
