By that I mean get ready for the media frenzy love in for.........................FRANK LAMPARDS Coventry City.
I'm surprised the media pundits and press haven't been all over it yet.
They will be I'm sure. Get ready for the Love fest.
They are the current form team and I think they-ll have enough to beat Sunderland. So will probably be at Wembley.

At least we won't get the Michael Carrick love in, surely Boro will sack him now

My team, Sunderland, were once more hopeless today.

However and given I'm now 63 and saw my first football match in 1967 I'm going to predict that SAFC will defeat coventry.

Famous last words perhaps but I've seen this situation before - Coventry are such overwhelming favourites that they'll make a mess of it. I've been on their message board and they're already talking about Wembley. I must have missed the semi final.

football rarely works on certainties and is always prepared to bring you down to earth with a bump.

Do you know Mark Pickersgill? He was a year below me at the boarding school near Newbury (I am now 63). in 1976 or 1977 Jim Montgomery visited him at school after going to a business meeting in the south. He was a good footballer and was in the same school team as me at every age level from u13s to the 1st team. I have not seen him since I left school in 1979
