Thought the “Typical United” had gone once Wilder joined, but the old foe has returned in style tonight. This has very much been a “Typical United” performance - on tv, against a former manager, with a chance to get back in the top 6 and actually win 3 games in a row......cue the worst performance in 18 months.

‘Blame’ might be the wrong word, but JOC didn’t get forward anywhere near enough. Our only good spell (the five minutes after 30 mins) coincided with the only time that JOC pushed on. I don’t know whether he was under instruction but he seemed very subdued.
