You could make an argument that says football is about entertaining the fans - or at least giving them a good experience - and that the fans are so bruised by last season that they'd rather spend a couple of seasons enjoying reasonable success and good match days in the champ before risking another battering in the prem.
The club won't feel that - but the fans have every right to.

They say stupid shit like that because they are dopey.
When costs have to be cut even further the season after next we are suddenly going to be good enough and suddenly find all the players we need that we can't get this season

The point is that the club needs to do the best it can do for now and for the future. Pursuing promotion this season doesn’t seem to me to be the best plan. We need to reorganise and prepare properly for a return to the PL not do what we did last time.

After our first 2 games 0 points still on minus 2 bad start ?

Any start that doesn’t get us to 6 points from the first 10 matches is a bad start, but if we have garnered some decent players late in August and then rise up the league it becomes unimportant

Just watched the game, I'm really impressed with the forward play but as some on here have said we need another centre forward or at least another attacking number 10 !
To be absolutely solid we need 2 centre halves (I love JLT but I don't think he's mobile enough now ! And anel still needs a rocket up his arse ) ,a right back, CDM (there's definitely a player in souza) but with Davis,s continuous injury record we haven't got anyone to push him !!!
Oh and definitely a keeper (I'm honestly thinking gribic has a condition written into his contract if he's fit he plays ???)
