Been following closely many Blades-fans messageboards for a loooong time now (years), but have never felt like contributing, as I haven't liked the unnecessary banter it usually seems to lead fellow-fans into - and as much as I feel I can take all the sh*te possible, I haven't felt like stirring up things. The above I'm also saying because of the topic I'm getting into, which is most surely, again, cause (fearing the worst...) more unnecessary than necessary comments to be made. Shouldn't be needful to say this, but I guess I need to - in relation to what I just said above and the very topic I'm raising - in that Chris Wilder is the best thing to have happened to the club for ages. (And I wouldn't even consider showing him the door, even if the team did worse than Derby...) But to the question/main point:

Is Wilder some sort of a Messiah who can't be questioned? (It would seem to be so to me as I read the forum.) Just who is it who put 40 million quid in new players? Just who is it who picks up the the match-day squad every time? Who's the manager and the head coach? Why was "the Moose" bought for 10 million £? And Callum Robinson for some 8 million £? And Oli for hecking 20 million £? Just asking here, actually, even as I have my reservations concerning pretty much all of these moves on the transfer market - I do know I'm no Deadbat what becomes to analyzing football, just someone who enjoys watching it. Still, anyways, is it really so that the rational behind these investments can't be questioned on this message board without being blamed for blasphemy against Wilder?

You’ve just questioned him, this disproving the theory that you can’t.

Next time let’s have some rationale behind your arguments. This isn’t North Korea.

Nice draw today

You admit you're no Deadbat, but you still somehow feel qualified to question Wilder's dealings in the transfer market because (presumably) you don't agree with them?
Keep looking and maybe eventually you'll learn ;)

There’s a lot to be said for going on the internet at half time and having a good crywank over some mildly disturbing pornography, rather than coming on here and having a crywank over some mildly disturbing football.
So I’m told, anyway. 😆

Do you know you keep putting your pound signs in the wrong place ?

What a start, mind you, Wilder finished the stronger.

The questions all had glaringly obvious answers anyway. I thought it was a rather odd contribution.

Hubris?

What are you referring to?

Absolutely nothing wrong with questioning any of Wilders decisions, but football fans have a habit of whinging instead.

Seriously what is there to question so fundamentally ? 3 years ago ( to the day?) bottom of division one and now we are 8 th in the best league in the world and my nose won’t stop bleeding.

I got bored reading the op..

But.. mcburnie scored last week.
Robinson scores today and works the defenders brilliantly.
Mousse forced the defender causing the equaliser today and played great when he came on.

If you’ve followed the forums you’ll know Chris Wilder is one of our own, and the saying in wilder we trust is used by most when looking at his signings..

Hope you take note..

In wilder we trust..
