right, we all know harper is on loan til the end of the season, when his contract runs out, so why not see if reading will cancel his contract in jan, to turn one of our many loanees into a permanent? or am i an idiot and this already been suggested/planned?

Would this be in an attempt to "free up" some space to allow another loanee? If so, I've heard that one of our loanees, who everyone seems to think is a season-long, actually runs out in January.
