Agree I thought PNE were a disgrace.
They looked low quality, clueless regards tactics but even worse they didn't even seem to show any effort or desire.
Once we scored in the 12th minute, confidence oozed out of them and it looked like they gave up and accepted defeat.
At the end of the game the commentator said "with clinical finishing the result could have been 4 or 5-0".

It's rare that you see us win a game (especially away from home) as easy as that, reminded me of some of our wins in the league 1 promotion season.

Agree and it was true.

First match home to Palace I couldn’t believe the gap in standard. There and then I knew we would really struggle, the players looked like they’d just met. Our tactics seemed to be pass it to Norwood who would boot it to little Beni’s head or towards Osula or McBurnies head.

Then once you’re under pressure on a downward curve, then it’s so difficult to build anything..To be fair I always had my doubts because let’s be honest we weee rarely convincing during our promotion year under Hecky.

Most matches under Hecky we enjoyed the brillance of MGW and then N’Diaye but you could sum up most matches by saying BATTLING display. We worked so hard and defended well.

However last night was very different. For the 1st time in years it was a really composed display and you could sum up that match by using the word CONTROL.

Wilder mentioned it too jokingly saying we need to stop that. I get why he said it. But cannot say I didn’t join in!
