I once went to three on the same day. We were meant to be at Upton Park, but it was the coach drivers first trip to London. First he took us to Selhurst, then Haringey dog track before finally dropping us off at West Ham just in time to see them get their 4th goal.
That was just the beginning of the most eventful day I ever had following the Blades, what happened after the match is a story for another day/thread.

I thought we had an archive thread on this with members lists of away grounds visited.

Impressive effort by many from memory.

Sorry, Guys, I have only been a member for a few months. so did not realise this had been done before.

The Carrier Bag Firm enjoy days of fun debating this nonsense. Which United teams count. Which competitions count. What can you count as a ground.

I have seen a Sheffield United XI play on 225 different grounds.

(Crucially counting Tottenham Hotspur only ONCE, like Bournemouth it's just a rebuild & reconfiguration on the same site)

Some very impressive supporters in this thread but just to scare you all, how much in monetary value as it cost you ,including tickets, travel, accommodation, alcohol, food and whisper this one, sickies from work. And all because we love the Blades. Would put mine down but not sure The Memsaab is reading.🤫

Not as many as I'd have liked to but quite an eclectic selection...
Boothferry Park
Blundell Park
Molineux
Roots Hall
Meadow Lane
City Ground
Deepdale
Keepmoat
Proact
Oakwell
Vicarage Road
Upton Park/Boleyn Ground
Loftus Road
Ewood Park
Gigg Lane
Vale Park
Kassam Stadium
Hillsborough (friendly)
Don Valley Stadium (friendly)
Old Wembley/New Wembley

Just checked my spreadsheet and I'm on 78 grounds watching United. Out of that, 5 no longer exist (i.e. Upton Park) and 9 are currently non-league (Stockport being an example of one I went to as a League Game, who have then slipped down the tiers) and 2 are national stadiums (Wembley and the Millennium Stadium).

So I'm on 62 out of the current 92.

To watch the first team I'd be well into the 70s I believe, most of which I ticked off during the 90s and early 00s. The foray into League One helped me tick a load more off.

About 130, including everything, such as the odd reserve friendly.

Spurs is a totally new ground. There is some overlap but the site is mainly adjacent to the old WHL site. Plus it was closed and totally demolished, rather than being an incremental redevelopment of the same site. For the same reason I'd say Bournemouth is also a new ground, especially as the pitch was reoriented 90 degrees.

Right, where's me carrier.

Is this a who's got the largest appendage thread?
Don't worry mine's pretty short although now I come to think...

Ellend Road
Ewood Park (that was a proper shit heap before JW got involved)
Gay Meadow
Wembley (old)
Baseball Ground
Sincil Bank
County Ground
Field Mill
I think there were some more at the beginning but can't remember them.

Of this seasons 92 grounds there are 9 grounds where SUFC have not played a first team game viz:-

Accrington Stanley
Forest Green Rovers
Harrogate Town
Newport County
Cheltenham
Salford City
AFC Wimbledon
Brentford
Barrow

Of these only Newport County have played a first class game against United on their ground which was Somerton Park. Of the 9 the only grounds I have not seen a game or visited are Barrow & the new grounds of Wimbledon & Brentford.

Yeh! certainly a who's got the biggest Knob thread.
If you've got an away ground out of the ordinary, share your experience, enlighten all us blades, I'm sure most want to know, I know I do. Please don't hit us over the head, metaphorically speaking you understand, with it or lists, numbers suffice.
Being a Blade is in the Heart.......................this thread is starting to take on a Bl*e tinge.

I once watched Norwich City on a pre-season tour play a Kenya national XI at the Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi.

Do I get any bonus points for that?
