How bad is Slimane?

Sometimes players develop injuries at new clubs. Both had good injury records.

Then around 4 years ago we had change of management and then injury crises for many began.
 
If the new owners don’t want Osborn, god knows what they think of Larrouci (loan I know), Slimane & Traore

He was injured for a lot of the season.
 
He's got the ability, he's got the physique but has he got the mindset? He doesn't seem like a player who is going to graft his bollocks off and I wonder if he's one of the players that Wilder is referring to when he talks about not having the Blades DNA?

Now in the Championship we ought to see a lot more of the ball and he may come into his own when we are dominating possession. Let's hope so as his resale value must be very low after what was effectively a wasted season for him

You can tell instinctively who’s got the capabilities, I think he has. He just needs to get used to how things work over here. The best thing about the Championship is that it’s a competitive league, that can improve you as a player. It’s not the PL, but it’s perfect for prospects who can improve. McAtee, Iliman etc.

Exactly what I think. I do think he has the ball playing skills to thrive at the bottom end of Serie A from what I’ve seen, whether he’s got the physicality for the championship we’ll wait and see
 

Whether he had time to collect that pass can be debated ad nauseam.
But
I just don't see the point of Slimane - he never looks like he's switched-on to the game ... It just passes him by.

You’re right, thought I’d treat the poster with the contempt they deserved.

70 min anomaly as you say, started brilliantly, faded very fast, must improve at holding the ball better in midfield.
