Interesting choice of thread to resurrect, think I’ll immediately go and start 10 more threads about it.

I thought there were enough pointless threads without starting another one. Today's situation is also very similar to August 2018

It’s decades. The saga of bringing Brian Gayle in back in 1991-2 was something. We only ended up getting him because Bassett lent the club some of the money.

At least that was because we were completely skint. This is just because we are completely incompetent
