Hope for return of crowds


So fake a flu symptom or two to get tested and proven negative is the way for most people to get the green light via this ideal...

New Zealand got cases low enough to reopen grounds and do away with social distancing. As an island it's possible if we put enough effort in....
 
All this Corona virus stuff is so contradictory it’s untrue.

The police never practice social distancing or wear masks but not a single police officer has died.
If masks were so important (which there’s no evidence hence why it can’t be made compulsory in law)
then surely the quality of the mask and also how it’s worn is essential.

The players on the pitch aren’t allowed to shake hands but they are allowed to hug each other.

Social distancing supposed to be so important BUT it’s not being used on planes.
Airlines have been given permission to use every seat on a plane.

This virus supposed to be so contagious so I reckon millions must have had it or previously had it
So how come the number of deaths for the below 60’s is so low....hardly any healthy people below 60 have died.
In the early days the UK government were trying their best to push the numbers up. If you had coughing and a temperature you were put on the figures. Why?

As I say it’s all weird.....seem to be making it up as they go along.
 
You won't find me getting a vaccine. God knows what poison they gonna inject and the future effect of it. It's all a big plot to control the masses and make sure we are not using all the planet's resources etc. I simply don't get this because the ONLY social distancing I've seen in all this, is when your queing to get into a shop. A soon as your in the shop it's like a free-for-all.
 
My wife has tested positive for antibodies meaning it's likely I've had it too (we had symptoms in Feb).

She's had 4 negative tests since late March but the accuracy of the antibody test trumps the Covid test easily.

Let us who've had it in (cue yeah but antibodies don't last etc....)

I actually think if the R rate stays below 1 when more and more things open up, then pressure will start to grow.

My understanding is that the government have recently announced that music festivals will soon be able to go ahead right?
Well, on that basis, if they're going to allow people to 'mingle' in front of a big stage at a music festival (where there will clearly be no social distancing whatsoever) I'm sure as shit they'll be letting fans back into football stadiums - Winner!!:D

I think it will be clearer after the seasons ends.
A lot of the things people are describing above involve minimal distancing.
If that results in a big spike, we'll probably rewind. If there's no spike, things will open much further.

Btw, what would the timescale be for a spike following the BLM protests? There was nearly no distancing and thousands of people. Are we at a stage where the effect of that can be evaluated? Be interesting data.
 
Why can't we just live our lives as normal without government interference? People with issues or are unsure should be the ones to isolate if they wish. A sad fact of life is everybody dies anyway so it surly should be up to the individual to take those risks? People have said for years that we should have the right to self determination and not have government stick their noses in and everyone hates the government. But as soon as Boris ends up in an NHS hospital for a few days, everyone jumps on the bandwagon. I'm sorry but that's a plot where Boris was saying "Look, if I can go stay in an NHS hospital, then so can you, it's serious". Cos let's face it, any other time he would have had private hospital treatment surly? Leaders of some African countries have even come out and said it's all a load of bs.

I am not keen on the idea of a digital health passport. I'm not one for conspiracies but it seems a plausible end game to go from tracing apps on phones to microchipping which is something I do not want to be a part of.

If they are letting people back to work in factories with thermal scanning cameras then implement that at turnstiles instead?

They don't work as well as they like you to beleive. As there could be any number or reasons why you might have an elevated temperature than normal. For example you might have been running or are pregnant etc etc.

getting tested every week for your passport will add up.
 
The truth was always out there. Most still seem to struggle with it though. As the old CV thread was deemed controversial, fair enough, I will keep my gob shut and won't post links to the astounding plethora of evidence and expert opinion now available to show we may have 'over reacted a bit'. But, it's there if you want it.
