I was reading PorkTalk yesterday. There is understandably division amongst them about this. For example, that the boycott should apply to away games too, as Chansiri will get a small cut of the proceeds (e.g. about £8k from Charlton, plus they have 14 days to transfer the remainder of cash taken back to the other club).
Ironically, the main reason for fans still attending away games, is that they don't want to lose their loyalty point privileges, and the Pigs Trust have made no attempt to challenge this (due to the fact their members have a vested interest too).
Tbf fair to them, there is a lot of soul-searching and angst, regarding this, the irony to me, as an outsider, I just don't think Chansiri cares one way or another. One Pig fan, who is quite well-informed, says that culturally, he would prefer to have this situation continue than be seen to sell for less than he wants. If that is true, this could continue for quite some time.
Let's hope it does.
