Was McEveley to blame for any of Bury's goals? If so which one/s?

WHF . To be honest and perhaps sounding a bit Adkinsish , it is a team game , both for defending and attacking , and all our back four , have been left in a dammed if they do , damed if they dont situation . OK individual mistakes and they do happen , but IMO , all goals conceded have been a collective process of mistakes . unfortunately the last man seems to be carrying the can . Responsibilities is the key , and somtimes i get the gut feeling , our players dont know the meaning of the word.

The Bury question is the McEveley Test, designed to root out scapegoaters - a bit like the Voight-Kampff test in Blade Runner now I come to think of it.

0.5 and you're not a scapegoat.
1 and you are at risk of scapegoating (some people think a 1 is a reasonable score, and this is still under consideration pending further evidence)
2 is a confirmed scapegoat.
3 - which has been witnessed - is extremist scapegoating, and the authorities must be notified.

Apportioning blame where non existed: McEveley against Bury. Possibly at fault for the third, blamed by a fair few for two goals

Watching Bill Punton , Tony Field , John Gannon and now todays team , all players actually sometimes have to play , to rigid instructions ( as we all saw and experienced in the Clough era ) . I have been pissed off and vented my feelings at the team ( half time and full time ) on many occasions , deserveadly IMO, but collectivley ( never individually )

However scapegoating ( especially at the match , is out of order , taking the piss of players ( who sometimes deserve it ) on the forum , is another matter , and justified , as a release of frustration , more than anything. Its like talking to your mates and analysing the match , coming out of the Lane, but on here , there a bigger audiance , and bigger differances of opinion.

Also your age , and football experience , has a bearing , on how you percieve things
