Hi from a Leeds fan

Good afternoon Blades fans, Leeds fan here.

Since we've been promoted I just thought i'd take the time to register for your site, bit of banter and decent footy chat.

From my own perspective i'm a bit dissapointed that Wednesday went the other way, but i bet you lot dont think the same but never mind there are so many northern teams in this league compared to league 1, so it'll be nice to get to a lot of the grounds to cheer my team on.

Anyway, good luck for the season, it'll be interesting to see if Blackwell will still be at the helm come August, always had a lot of time for him at LUFC, but not quite sure he's cut out to be a PL manager, time will tell i suppose.

I guess that is in reference to the tabloid interest? Double edged sword for us, yes they do tend to write a lot about us, trouble is, it's mostly bad stuff, so low key is definately not to be sniffed at as far as i'm concerned.

No idea lads, would love to know, but alas our beloved chairman don't like giving titbits of information like that out.

Ah well, i hear that Championship clubs have to abide by stricter rules (ie, they have to tell us who exactly owns the club) so hopefully i'll be able to get back to you on that one in the near future ;-)

LS10 - realistically where do you think you will finish in the league next season?

Depends on Bates really, if he pumps a few quid in then we could be borderline play off's, probs just miss out. Without any investment, then staying up and consolidating would be the best we could hope for.

Really don't wanna be going back don to League 1 though, so grim in that league :-(

I'm probably one of the few who actually hate Leeds so much I enjoy it when Wednesday shove it up them. Not a personal dig btw. I have some really good mates from Leeds who are big fans and we have loads of banter.
I have no idea why I detest your team so much.

Just to balance that for you LS10 - my brother in law is is a died in the wool Leeds season ticket holder - but also gets behind our lot too and is no stanger to the Shoreham End. I have no real axe to grind with Leeds over the usual "local" rivalry - I certainly loath the Piggies and the cheating scum from West Ham a damn sight more!
