i dont blame Henderson kept us in so many games including this one numerous times & i dont blame the losing grip of the ball because with the amount of rain that fell im surprised that was the only handling mistake
 

Its a shame we should have had a draw we were sat right above the goal in BLUT and it was like watching it in slow motion as it dribbled out of this hands but he could have easily clawed it off the line but his reaction was more of surprise rather than scramble his hand back and scoop it away.

Lets not forget the brilliant save against Sala one on one !

Wilder is spot on
My main issue with Hendo is he seems to believe all this ‘ legend of the club” talk.
He is certainly no legend yet, and from Wilders comments he sounds as if he is getting pissed with the keepers mistakes.

Think Kieth Edwards, Jimmy Greaves, Doc Pace and many many more who score on a very regular basis.
 
I hope we go out and splash £15m on him in the summer for our 2nd season in the PL

Were you ever a keeper??
He will cut the mistakes as he matures and gains more experience
I think he’s brilliant and the potential is massive
Everyone has their opinion though...

It wasn’t really a brilliant save was it? He just stuck his foot out. It was an important save at the time - but more poor finishing than good keeping.

Problem is by the time he matures, gains more experience and cuts out the mistakes, he will have cost United the points which we need to stay in the Premier league
 
He’s gash, didn’t want him after last season, Leeds etc. We need our own goalie, not just a decent prospect we can develop for another team. Big mistake having him back this season but the clappers love him due to his his big msn social media from last season , fuck off you useless cunt and let’s get a goalie to be the future of SUFC Nd not MUFC
 
Very good shot stopper. Good with one on ones. Ok at crosses. Can’t distribute very well (his kicking is awful). Mistakes are occurring but at the same way it has for the rest of the team. As a keeper a mistake is a certain goal.

He’s a low end Premier League keeper and that’s where we are at.

We can't afford to let him make his mistakes whilst he matures for the potential benefit of Man United.

We need an experienced keeper that's up to the job now.

Every point is precious to us.

As a group we need to cut the mistakes but considering Norwood, JOC, Egan and Bash have all made mistakes that cost us a goal, bit harsh to round on Henderson.

His save against Salah was excellent, as was his positioning for a lot of stuff, I just really wish it was a worldy not a dropped bollock.

I’m not convinced he’ll be good enough for the very top clubs. There’s every chance we end up with him, in my opinion.

He is shit, Ramsdale who we sold on is in front of him at under 21 s, we are paying a fortune to coach a goalkeeper who will never make it at Man Utd
 
Keepers make mistakes and they are scrutinised far more (of course) as they are usually costly as in our case today.

I am not blaming Henderson for today, however, I am not convinced generally as yet.

Obvious improvement areas are his distribution (I am nervous every time he is about to kick) and commanding of the penalty area...I am no keeper but sometimes I think he stays on his line rather than "sweeping".
 
How many times did Hendo make crucial saves over the last 2 years to get us here playing against the so called best team in europe, of course he might have a mistake in him..I have...you have we all have...we are only human after all....pool will be thinking tonight..."how the ferk did we get sommat out of today", no consolation to us I know...ferk it though proud as buggery....

Seriously, it was an error made because of a lapse in concentration. It doesn't make him any lesser player. Just one who needs to be more focused.
Didn't De Gea have some howlers last season as well?

I’m really disappointed today with him, it’s ok saving the salah chance shortly after, but it’s the basics that we expect, you could have chucked your hat on that one.. bread and butter goalkeeping..

However... how old is he?

It’s a shame that we got nothing from that game, it’s a bigger shame we gave them all three points with that mistake..

We’d have been on cloud nine with a point and that’s why I’m criticising, he gets beat by a great move n we lose nobody gives a shit, but it’s schoolboy stuff doing that..

We got plenty of games left anyway UTB
 
I noticed Henderson was the first to leave the pitch after quickly acknowledging the crowd.

Chris Wilder was down the tunnel straight away.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder did give him some words of encouragement.
