We certainly are in a bit of a downward spiral!
I did think that CW would turn it round - the next few games should make that a little clearer.
A lot of sensible things have been said on this board.
We do not have the luxury of being able to make mistakes in buying players, taking chances on injuries, loss of form, etc. like many other teams and then being able to go out and buy 3 or 4 new players, or pay a £50 million here and there and, if it doesn't work, simply forget it.
We can't pay the wages to attract some players - who knows we might be able to afford to buy them but not compete with wages available elsewhere, etc.
We are really suffering without the crowds and we have not done too well in trawling foreign markets for talent which most believe is readily available and there for the taking.
I look at the table and think, surely we have got to be able to do better than Fulham and West Brom. Then there's Burnley, possibly Brighton and maybe, just maybe, one or two others - who those others might be I've no idea at the moment.
I have read others saying that we ought to give some of the youngsters a chance. Personally, I think that's a great idea - but it is not something United do. When we had Brookes how often did he play? Maybe it will get to the stage that they decide why not, let's give them a go - hopefully long before it is too late.
I really like the Prince. I think he has been unbelievably impressive since he took over.
The idea of getting rid of CW is, to me, ridiculous.
However, we are all entitled to our own views and to complain about the position we are in, how poor our football is, what we are missing, what's gone wrong, etc. and how on earth we are going to sort it out.
I wish I knew - but I am sure CW knows far more than me on that subject.
If you live in Ranmoor you have got to know something!
