He has to go

Wasted MILLIONS in the transfer market over the last 18 months, no plan B, sat on 1 point after one of the worst starts we’ve had in decades.

Sooner or later questions have to be asked of the manager. It could be time for a change.

Been a victim of his own success.

if it’s even possible in the modern game / modern world, our rise has been too rapid.

Unnatural growth spurt.

Ideally would have been slower / more organic.

That said, we are where we are.

Players and Management need a good fuckin tear up after that.

I genuinely feel sorry for Sander Berge atm.

Wilder absolutely needs some better assistance in recruitment for the top of the pitch.

McG aside, almost all of his offensive signings, everything considered, have been dreadful. Truly dreadful.

I don’t want him gone btw. But we are fodder atm, and the board may feel differently in the not too distant !!!

A little bit unfair on Adolf that mate ! No way did he do a worst job than Wilder .

A bit of perspective needed on here I think .

Fuck me, things must be bad . Its so long since my last post I no longer know how to use the quote function !

Anyway.... wilder ahhhht, Adolf in !

I think our alternatives would more likely be Nigel Pearson or Eddie Howe.
Both relegated last season so I'm not sure either would improve things enough. This current side we have looks worse than those Watford & Bournemouth sides too.

I think the lack of alternatives is as good a reason as any to stick with Wilder. If we accept we're likely to go down then who is most likely to get us promoted next season? I think Wilder would be best for that level.

We wouldn't be in the f*****g Premier League without Wilder.

We'd probably still be dossing it in League f*****g One without him.

Until we're in danger of returning to that division, he deserves a hell of a lot more respect.

Perfectly put.

You’re likening Chris Wilder to Adolf Hitler?
In answer to the question posed in the post which was the right of CW to take us back to L1. I said in that case like Hitler the right to take a country he created from so to speak ashes to ashes.

I think the original post was stupid and answered in equally dumb vein.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Wilder quit, he’s a Blade after all and this must be hurting him as much, if not more than all of us fans.

If he doesn’t feel he can turn this around, I can see him walking for the good of the club.

Well if he is going to let situations like the Lunny one arise then maybe he should look at himself.

I'm the happiest I've been with wilder since the end of last season, at least we've had a go and put the shits up them.. Other teams won't come back at us like Chelsea because they don't have the tools to do so... It was great being in front for 20 minutes or so..

However lunny didn't get taken off, I don't know, maybe he had to finish his cigar he was smoking... And wilder said OK John, is wilder scared of lunny.. Possibly..
Serious??

All this if we go down talk he's the man to bring us back.

How about we try to stay up?

Lunacy to even consider getting rid of him. It has taken a perfect storm of shit to put us in trouble. We're ahead of our curve under him; it was always likely to be undone by a few injuries as we simply haven't been able to make up for three years of no investment with two years of minimal investment at Premier League level. Go again next season with the parachute payments and the younger group we've accumulated. The club is in an infinitely stronger position regardless of league status due to one man: Chris Wilder. He's probably the best manager you will ever see at United.
P.S. anybody noticed the volume of accounts with a few posts in many years suddenly surfacing and calling for his head? Anybody would think it's pigs come from under their rocks after a four years.

I'm not convinced that getting rid of Wilder is the right option. He does need to take some criticism though, his recruitment since promotion has been really poor. We've spent a not insignificant amour of money and are playing a LB we acquired from league 2 at centre back. We don't have any creativity at all in midfield and are lacking options to change games. We haven't found a strike partnership that works and we don't have a decent left footed midfielder to cover Fleck.

Our recruitment is where we've gone wrong, I can't see who comes in to change that.
One thing I am certain of, is even if we turn this round, we need to shake up the management structure. We need someone new to come in and oversee recruitment.

Wilder’s football at the minute is no better than Allardyce or Pullis!

It's worse tbh Allardyce and Pullis can grind out a result. At this rate CWAK will be only grinding out their own SUFC career graves.

Shame but to keep repeating the same stuff over and over again expecting a different result.

Look at you all, has no one heard of loyalty?
I'd happily keep wilder even if we finished on 1 point.
How would any other manager get a premier league performance out of these players ?
This management took us from a utter dire shit show in league one to where we are now so please, someone tell me who would be a better replacement?
Fickle as fuck some folk.

Same people who turned on Bassett & Warnock and then moaned for the next 7 or 8 years.

Take a minute or even a few seconds to remember where we were when Wilder took a chance on us. It was a risk for him, potentially had a better offer at Charlton too. Now look at where we are when you are calling for his head. Show some respect and loyalty.

I've gotta agree with the poster. This many games in, and languishing bottom of league with ONE point!!!! If we dont win next 2 games, I cant see the owners putting up with this.

Serious??

Yes I am, quick balls into the box, no indecision on the wings, and we looked likely to score first and we did, some people need to apply a bit of perspective, I understand the frustration of not beating Fulham but we'd have swept them away had we started like today against them.. This is a league, where the best on the planet ply thier trade, I never said it would be easy and we may have flattered to deceive last season, but Frank lampard has just said they're in 3rd place now.... Don't lose sight of the caliber and quality we're up against...

I'm not one for throwing the towel in, I wa proud of how we set off... I cant tell anybody else what to think...
