I make no apologies for this...

If you're a Sheffield United fan who wants Chris Wilder to be sacked then you're a massive cunt.

Fuck off, cunt.

If you're a Sheffield United fan who thinks the manager is bigger than the club and happy to see the team roll over and wave the white flag week after week, then you're a cunt.

Fuck off, cunt. 🤣

Its shit at the moment, I'm not in love with football as there are more pressing events happening (as has been discussed in many other posts) and at the moment something is wrong with the team. Early suggestions around missing O'Connell are wide of the mark as its more than just missing a key player. Others have suggested we're ahead of the curve which I think is true. I also think this season was always going to be a transition as we have players the wrong side of 30 and some who are perhaps good squad players but not leaders/prem quality in their own right.

Get rid of Wilder though, bollocks. This is the man who gave us the club back at the worst time in my memory of following the blades. This is someone rightly lauded as both an intelligent and motivational manager by his peers. We may go down but lets remember there are many yo-yo clubs over the years and when looking at West Brom, Fulham, Norwich etc...have sudden changes made them more likely to get promoted (if thats our season). Sometimes take the money and come back....if we hadn't got promotion where was the money to replace key players and maintain the drive...we're a different and I hope better team than 2 years ago looking at the younger recruitment and players comings through the academy. Spoke to a friend today who supports Derby, just imagine....

Of course, mate, I'm frustrated too. I just think it's disrespectful to call for Wilder's head for what is, essentially, the first wobble in over four years. Yes, it's not nice being bottom of the Premier League but we wouldn't be near being bottom of the Premier League without Wilder. I just think his achievements so far buy him at the least the season and probably more. I can't think of a better bloke to have in the trenches now and I can't think of anybody I'd rather have in charge if we do end up in the Championship.

I know what you’re saying but we can’t keep saying “look how far he’s taken us” every time CW is questioned. If we are still in the bottom 3 then I personally think he’ll be gone around Christmas/New Year. The board will want to see a return on their money and CW isn’t doing that right now.

The whole squad has gone stale they haven’t become shit overnight .
We’ve played the cream of the premier the last 3 games the next 2 will show if we have a chance of staying up

But it’s not questioning him it’s about some people saying he should be sacked after a bad 4 months. It’s a thing called loyalty and having the best man in charge to either give us a chance of staying up or getting us back up.

Some of the overreactions from people on here really do make me laugh.... how can people seriously be questioning whether Wilder should get the sack?! Yes it isn't a great start but how many of our matches so far would we have been expected to win? Most of our games have been against teams that finished above us last season (top 8) and I think we all agree that we over achieved last season as it is. We are not an established Premier league side nor do we have the budget that the other teams do. People are slating his recruitment, he can only work with the funds available to him, we lost out on Watkins, Robinson, Cash etc because we as a club can't compete with other teams' money... not Wilder's fault! Injuries to key players... not Wilder's fault! The fact that we, more than alot of other teams, rely on the fans getting behind the team and that they aren't there... not Wilder's fault! Wilder has done an astounding job to get us where we are in such a short time and to talk about sacking him seems ridiculous to me. If you do think he should be sacked who do we replace him with that you honestly believe would be able to do a better job? I honestly believe the performances aren't as bad as what the table shows and that we will have enough to stay up. UTB
So when does his position legitimately come under scrutiny then? 2 points in 60? The performances have been abysmal, utterly appalling. We’re hoofing, barely creating one chance a game, can’t pass, can’t defend a cross. The media are ripping us for how shit we are. I don’t want Wilder to go, I want him to change the things we’ve all seen wrong for months. I want him to try something different, I want him to play passing football, I want him to get much MUCH better at changing a game with substitutions, I want him to stop spending money on players we don’t need and aren’t good enough.

And who keeps us up seriously? I am in complete shock you are being serious but come in oh wise one who keeps us in this league?
Well now we're talking like gentlemen instead of bering the gustappo I have to question the transfers we are devoid of ideas a new manager might freshen it up but will the Prince allow this much longer

Yes Chelsea have improved their squad. Let's not pretend we haven't spent money. I don't seem to remember what other teams have spent being an issue last year when we were taking points off them.

Look at the players we've got and what they've cost. We've spent half of what Chelsea have and still have a Championship squad. We can't sit here and go "well look at where they've come from" when we've broken our transfer record numerous times to get them in. The only players that excuse can wash with are players like Bash, Fleck, Norwood, Stevens, Baldock etc....and yet those are the ones who still to this day remain our best players. It leaves an awful lot to be desired for our transfer policy.

We haven't spent half of what Chelsea have at all. This laughable comment keeps getting mentioned. Wages are a thing: last year our wage bill was around half of Burnley's and less then half of Bournemouth's. Our budget is down there with Burnley and West Brom. Anything above that - dream on.

nonsense. sorry but in my eyes Wilder has so much credit in the bank, like others have said we could go down with 1 point and his job should still be safe. this man has given us our best times since the 19th century, what he's done for this club in the past 5 years (after some of the shit we've all been through) is nothing short of literally unbelievable, and we are so far ahead of our curve purely because of his (and AK's) brilliance. this almost reminds me of the ranieri/leicester situation in 2016 where he's been so good that he's managed to raise expectations to totally unrealistic levels.

he should be spending tonight thinking about whereabouts in the car park he wants his statue building but instead he's instead spending it thinking about what he can do to turn around this wretched form because we've got people questioning his position due to terrible indivudal errors and the fact that some of our players have apparently stopped giving any sort of a damn. i don't know what our issue is at the minute or how we're going to sort it; but it is definitely not anything to do with Wilder.

And who keeps us up seriously? I am in complete shock you are being serious but come in oh wise one who keeps us in this league?

Wilder is the only man that can keep us up. He's worked miracles with the groups of players he's had with us. I can't think of a single manager who could come in and turn this group of players round. I've mentioned earlier that we have always been greater than the sum of our parts and that's always been down to CWAK.

However, we are in a different ball game now, we've spent money and the Prince will be expecting a return on this investment. Imo Wilder has wasted a lot of money since promotion, money that we really cannot afford to waste. Of course, we can't expect every transfer to work but his track record since promotion has been poor in terms of improvements to the starting 11.

I think Wilder has backed himself into a corner over recent months and he has to get us out of it. I can accept us being relegated if we actually put up a fight but I worry that we will be cut adrift if we don't pick up soon. I also worry that our players won't be strong enough or experienced enough to get us out of the dog fight. The players I think can do, aren't good enough quality wise for us to be relying on them week in week out (Sharp and Jags).

Wilder might yet be a victim of his own success but you have to give him this season to turn it round at the very least. If it were me I'd give him next season to get us promoted too because how it is looking at the moment we are going down for sure as there is not a bit of fight in this team at the moment.

What some people want and what they get differ.

The board knows the situation, they’ll be concerned but realistic. They may have already said to Chris that whatever happens we’ll stick by you and if we’re in the championship you’ll be our manager. On the other hand they could be quietly discussing his replacement.

One of the problems with modern football is the short termist attitude of chairmen. X isn't working so we must need Y.

4 years of incredible work shouldn't be discarded because of the current run. Give Wilder time. And if we're relegated at the end of the season then there's no man better to get us promoted again. At which point a new manager might be appropriate. Might be.

We've been punching for 4 years now, give the guy a chance.

There'll be plenty of time to reflect if someone like Pardew gets the job.
Wilder has to stay.
Give him some well deserved slack.
Well if he stays, the first thing he needs to do is change the formation!!! Why is he being so stubborn playing this system, when its calling out for changing??

Hitler was exactly the same mate ..... he had Barbarossa in his coconut all the time .... even copious amounts of Italian schnapps couldn't remove it .

Sad really .
Hitler was a non drinking, non smoking, vegetarian but watching that shower of utter shit tonight would drive anybody to drink.

No, course not. And I agree that he isn't and shouldn't be immune to criticism. But in four since that Millwall loss, his team have had two blips (after Coutts' leg break and now) and a handful of games that you'd file in the disappointing category. I just think some Blades are a little bit spoilt.

Not a chance he should be sacked this season, even if we go down. He is still possibly the best manager we would be able to attract. However, when confidence is low, as it clearly is, he needs to drop the 'we can't go toe to toe with these teams' mantra. If the team go out with that in mind we are almost beaten before we start. We need some of the old 'respect nobody, fear nobody' attitude back in our game.

We've spent £100 million on transfer fees alone and not improved the squad bar one player. Lets stop pleading poverty and actually acknowledge that we've spunked unthinkable amounts of money on some bang average players.

Yeah I think we have been spoiled, last season especially, it gave us a false sense of stability and this run of form is hard to take.
