He has to go

I get that but look at the players Chelsea have got and what they've cost. Remember who a lot of our players were playing for before they come to us. Its starting to show now.
If is about the last 11 league games. Not today's game. The style of negative hoofball we are playing at the moment isnt good enough

The question is starting to need to be asked. We've got 1 point from 33 available in our last 11 Premier League games.
I don't know many managers that wouldn't be looking over their shoulder in that scenario & Wilder isn't immune.

Of course, our circumstances are slightly different - in that we've come a long way in a short space of time, Wilder is a Blade, is popular with the fans & he's also created this whole identity around the club. Sacking him is very high risk.

However... A wise man once said

"INSANITY - is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Wilder seems reluctant to change anything. The system has stayed the same. Does he have the capability to think his way through this crisis? If not, why not? Something needs tweaking. But every week the same approach.

The other problem is that his big signings don't look good enough (right now).
McBurnie, Brewster & Ramsdale - £60m approx... I'm not sure any have hit the ground running & can be considered much of a success. Max Lowe tonight? Looked poor. Burke & Bogle aren't getting on the park. They're his signings. We need pace. He won't play them.

It looks more & more like we're going down. I wouldn't be shocked if the Prince rolls the dice in an attempt to rescue things.
I don't necessarily agree with it, but I would half understand it if we're still in single figure points in 4 or 5 games' time.

I'd not throw too much more money at it in January but we do need to shore up the left side of defence. Replace JOC (it's criminal that we didn't do this) and bring Norrington-Davies back.

Can't see him being sacked but it wouldn't be a suprise.I think he will quit if anything

I'm the happiest I've been with wilder since the end of last season, at least we've had a go and put the shits up them.. Other teams won't come back at us like Chelsea because they don't have the tools to do so... It was great being in front for 20 minutes or so..

However lunny didn't get taken off, I don't know, maybe he had to finish his cigar he was smoking... And wilder said OK John, is wilder scared of lunny.. Possibly..

I wouldn’t be shocked if Wilder quit, he’s a Blade after all and this must be hurting him as much, if not more than all of us fans.

If he doesn’t feel he can turn this around, I can see him walking for the good of the club.

If he walked he would lose every bit of respect we had for him. I’d understand if he wasn’t backed by the board but he’s had more than enough money. CW made this issue, walking out would be suicide.

His stock is falling fast, more likely to walk than await the boot, but hopefully neither happens.

I'd stick by him as he's shown he can get us up, which will be next season's objective regardless - hopefully with a packed BDTBL behind him.

I said this earlier. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Wilder walked.

We. Have. Been. Fucked. By. Covid.

If the pandemic had happened last year instead of now, we'd have gone down then too. The impact of having a packed Bramall Lane and sold out away ends is immeasurable to Wilder and the team.

Wilder deserves the chance to still be here battling for the club when we're all back in the ground.

How people can practically forget that he dragged our sorry arses out of six years of shit is beyond me.

We look shell shocked. Nobody wants the ball its like a hot potato. We lose possession and then teams like Chelsea, City and Liverpool have the talent to punish us. Is it negative hoofball or has the confidence gone?

Look at you all, has no one heard of loyalty?
I'd happily keep wilder even if we finished on 1 point.
How would any other manager get a premier league performance out of these players ?
This management took us from a utter dire shit show in league one to where we are now so please, someone tell me who would be a better replacement?

Criticism is thoroughly deserved. If people cant see why others are questioning wilder then they should really evaluate why we are rock bottom. I think in total this season we have conjured up about 90 mins of decent football. The rest has been negative, hoof, shite. For me if we have no more points after another 3 games then we should be looking at a replacement.

we've spent 100mill on this squad and we look like raffle winners.

Spineless wankers first sign of trouble and turned into every other fan base who think they should be doing this that and the other. No other manager would have this team anywhere near the prem that’s a fact! Question him criticise him but to say sack him! Wow undeliverable there is a word called loyalty some on here need to look it up!!
