Spend 24 hours sounding out Dyche, if he’s up for it and affordable go get him

Next 48 speak to wilder and cooper, decide if you roll the dice again with a new bloke, or go safe, but swallowing pride for a multimillionaire brash Yank may be tough

1) dyche
2) cooper
3) wilder

Dyche still thinks he can get a job in the PL….the West Ham job should soon be available.
We’d need to offer him a massive salary….a salary we probably can’t afford.

Makes me wonder what the contract situation was with Wilder.
Instead of negotiating a termination….its more common that managers are put on gardening leave…..so they continue to receive their monthly salary.

Is it simply a case of ending Wilders gardening leave and ordering him to return to work as per his contract.
If he refuses then it’s a reach of contract and we can end payments saving money.

Surely if you employ someone else then it's constructive dismissal and a clear breach of contract by employer

Yes read this too and apparently one of the reasons he is being considered
Logic suggests if it is a substantial amount, I've been told it is, the owners would consider him as an option to offset costs. That doesn't mean to say he will be coming back as there are other factors to consider not least whether he can fit into the owners template and possibly work under a DOF.

The cult of Chris have got carried away today at the inference talks are being held. There is a lot of water to flow under the bridge before the decision is made to bring him back. Its been inferred the Board were split over his dismissal with the group of six wanting him out due to his behaviour at Plymouth. This could lead to differences of opinion that drag the process out. The way to solve this is get the DOF in now. If Selles goes I'd be surprised if a replacement is brought in immediately again.

Assuming it's true, I wonder who's in charge of the selection process for his replacement?
No one.
Haven't you heard of Ai ?

You can sit on your arse in total ignorance
in any country of the world
and buy a business in any other country of the world
with no relevant knowledge or experience
because Ai will do it all for you

and you may well break the world speed record for fucking it up

Possibly but not sure how gardening leave works legally.
Sheff Utd tell Wilder to stay at home and he’ll receive his monthly salary for the next 2 years as per his contract.

If Wilder is offered a job at another then he must approach SUFC to agree permission and a break/ cessation of his contract
So United effectively save money because they don’t have to pay Wilder his full contract.

Just wondered about the law regards gardening leave…..if that person is still being paid his usual monthly salary then can that club simple ask him to return?

But you can't employ someone in his role or it is constructive dismissal, that's why they have talks and negotiate a pay off

But who's going to be caretaker manager if Selles & buddies get the chop ?
That famous "football man" ,
The accountant / CEO , Mr Bettis ?

Whose duties range from A to Z

Not sure about that….has Wilder now been fully paid off and free to negotiate a contract elsewhere or is he is still being paid by the club?
When we’ve sacked managers in the past…..you hear rumours that we’re still paying the monthly salary of a manager that was sacked months earlier.

I understand managers only approach the club to negotiate a pay-off when they are interested in taking a job elsewhere.
Not 100% sure….i would think someone must know how contracts work regards sacking managers and whether gardening leave is the standard policy.
So is Chris still officially contracted to and being paid by the club?

So if true we would be paying off Wilder and Séllés, sounds madness but summat has to give maybe they are trying to get Wilder back otherwise it would have to be someone very cheap like a up and coming manager or a foreign guy. At least with Wilder they know what they are getting but if he came back he would be insufferable thinking he could do just as he pleases because his ego would tell him he is unsackable for a third time. COH are backed into a corner here, it is a damage limitation exercise now, we can just about write of a play off push.

Don't take it as gospel but I was under the impression that usually there's a set get out fee which would be paid over a set period of time ,works both ways for employer and employee
