My thought was when we played Leeds in 1978, did Currie have more league appearances at that point than the United team? I can't be arsed to work it out!

Uncle Susan once nobbed his ex more times in 2 weeks that he knobbed his current boyfriend, and he'd been with him 6 months longer than he'd been with his previous girlfriend during the previous fortnight.
I tried to point out this was so wrong, but didn't explain it well so she just called me a knob head and went to our aunts for comfort hugs.
Aunt let's him get away with owt and I end up looking worse than our performance at hull today.

Can't be arsed to work it out but did Phil Jagielka's 287* blades appearances surpass our entire XI from this cup game in 2011? Stephen Quinn would probably have made 150 on his own by this point and I think Cresswell was also up to about 40 so probably not, but first one that sprang to mind.

*I'm just going off wikipedia but that's how many he'd played for us in all comps before he rejoined the club in 2019.

We picked Harriott up from Luton in 2010 as an 17 year old. I remember watching him pull the strings in the 4-1 JPT win at Notts County in October 2012 (Miller 2, Maguire 2; Jordan Stewart with a consolation for the Magpies) and thinking that he'd have a bright future at the Lane. That was his last ever appearance for United, he spent time at Northampton before dropping down the divisions, moving around sides in and around north London (Hayes & Yeading, Hemel Hempstead, Bedford, Hendon, Beaconsfield*, Thame and now Welwyn).
