Played for us ( Tranmere ) tonight against Liverpool and was excellent 2nd half

Just wondered if anyone knew much about him, whether he is available for transfer or is it a loan we are looking at?

Got to be better than Wallace and Higdon!

Shame Wallace was never fit as I thought there was a very good player in there.

Higdon, I don't even know what to say. Well I would if I owned a sandwich shop, I'd say "thanks for the holiday in the Maldives that your butties have paid for"

Afraid I don't know a lot about young Harvey. But I wish him, and you guys, well.

Harvey who now?

He needs competitive games, so a loan would be handy... But not sure his current contract situation.

Purely from memory, we gave him a pro contract in 2016.

High work rate, box to box and like most at the Blades academy, good technically.

And yes, he's a more sensible option for you than the two you mention.

I strongly agree with Foxy
I'd be amazed if it's for a permanent deal
I assume/hope it's for a loan deal
Harvey has a lot of similarities with Regan Slater. And, in my opinion, is only "just behind" Slater in his development. He also takes a mean dead ball.

I see he's fell out with McCabe already

Have Tranmere got any money?
United are a step away from civil war and will be liquidising assets throughout the pre season to pay for lawyers, guns and ammo (sorry Warren it works better that way), get your bids in early to avoid disappointment.

Do you mean liquidating?

United won't be paying the lawyers.

Not checked the accuracy of the rest of it ..........

Good to see these lads getting out and about.

It’s probably the next step for Graham, Gilmour, Norrington-Davies, Slater, Semple and Smith.

I see Jordan Hallam has 5 games at Viking in Norway but seems to not be in the XI.

By the time the window closes we will have shipped out a good half a douzen. Just hope we have more than one coming in.

But is Harvey Gilmore still contracted to Sufc or has he been released?
Everything I have seen about him has impressed me and I would hope he is contracted for at least another year

Hope its a loan, he`s got better season by season with us, and looks to be a player in the making.

Box to box, although he doesn`t score too many, he does have a decent shot on him, occasionally leaves his foot in too, which I like about him.
Wont hide when its feisty, ideal for League 2!

Certain he will develop into a League player, what level is up to him.

Gilmour played with the first team in the friendly at Stockbridge Park Steels earlier this week.

There is a group of lads who will go on loan this summer and if you listened to our head coach he confirms his boys are in demand due to the excellent way we bring them through our Academy. So loans for Gilmour, Smith, Semple and one of our keepers. Graham is already fixed up and with another two training with the first team its all positive Where the loans take place is up for grabs but United will want the boys to get game time and not sit on the bench. Surprised Harvey was named on the team sheet I thought trialists had not to be named United don't give out names.

Not sure how accurate this is but I think Semple is on his way to Scotland on loan or there is a chance he will be anyway

Where ever these lads go on loan it must be to play first team games.

Going on loan to a team and not playing would not help them develop.

Maybe not the most glamorous clubs but it more important to play each week.

I do agree - however they must earn their places.

Remember the lads from Manchester United we've had up front - neither of whom seemed o be any good? I'd have hated tfor someone to tell me they had to play.

Be a good move for both club and player, great lad attitude is first rate and he’s a proper team player very unselfish and does the dirty work without fuss, just signed a contract extension with United so no chance of anything other than a loan move, his only weakness is his right foot or the lack of one if he can improve that will become a complete player technically solid and will tackle anything and go in where others wont
