Been watching the Wire this off season mate...fancied a turf war. I'll be Marlo, you can be Avon.

Not having you as Marlo. At best you're Dukie (good intentions, ultimately doomed), which means Roy is Bubs (gathers information for the greater good, regrets his life choices).

Me? Ziggy's duck (very limited screen time, drunk).

A very good signing on paper.

If he stays fit and lives up to expectations will be an excellent signing.

But the worst thing about loans is they can take time to bed in. Then after a whole season of working with them and improving them they go back to their own club. Double edged sword. Bit if he helps you get promotion it will be worth everything.
Agreed

But Leicesters new manager has let him go, and their last didn’t use him so seems an outcast there

Hopefully does the business for us and with promotion, or new owners, or both we can buy him outright if we want to

Good signing - feel we’ve gone for quality over quantity so far

I like Souttar but for some reason he couldn't get a look in at Leicester and I'm not sure why. He is excellent in the air and will certainly score goals for you on set plays.

It's the way forward without spending a fortune on players transfer fees. Try before you buy. And if they stay up he will certainly be surplus to requirements.

We supporters don't know a lot but always have opinions. Having a slow start doesn't mean a lot other than the points secured. Just like having a great start doesn't make you champions. Your first team is starting to look strong with a few weeks left in the transfer window.

I can see Anel going before the window shuts. I just can't see why we'd bring is Souttar to be on the bench behind Anel.

I think we’ve missed someone like him for a long long time. He’s massive but can actually play football rather than being just a brute. Even after 1 game I hope we go up and sign him permanently, just feels like a Sheffield United player.

Thought Souttar was excellent today. Great in the air, a threat in their box, but also strong in the challenges and used the ball well. I think he will stay in the team.
I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't start on Saturday

Crazy impressed with this guy. Ultra composed on the ball which for a giant is a huge surprise.

That CB pairing will take some shifting now. 👏👏.

UTB
Gets you with the neck tells u to fuck off.

He'll do for Me..

It looks much better with him in there

The foundation of Cooper, Souttar and Anel should be promotion level. Lot to like about this trio. All big and composed. Goal threat is high too

If we could maintain close to the current conceded average of 3 in 4 that would be great but I don't think it's likely playing this way

I wonder if RND coming in at LB could be a game changer. I hope he's fit enough to consider soon

First time in ages I've not been shitting myself every corner. This guy and Cooper have made a massive difference to the nesh bastards we saw last year. Gilchrist and Burrows were decent too.

Gives us something we've missed for a while - a big, intimidating CB. He can play a bit as well, and looks to be a good organiser at the back.
