Speaking of which - I'd have sent Baxter off without a second thought today. So at least the ref was balanced.![]()
Actually Baxter won the ball before making contact with the player, not that that is the be all and end all, but I thought he was unlucky to be booked.
It would have been because their winger was a yard offside.
Fair dos - it just looked reckless and out of control from my angle.
It wasn't that bad a miss. At absolute full stretch and off balance, hardly a sitter.
It was never a foul that lead to the chance. Their player fell over and at best it was as drop ball.
