I know its early days but he is exacltly what Reading fans were saying and that he totally disappers during matches.

Id of thought the goal on tuesday would of given him a kick in the arse.

i must disagree a little, the first half i thought was dominated by the ball winning (both 50/50 and second balls) by montgomery and harper, which gave our wingers the field position to put in all those exceptionally dangerous balls.

the second half, montgomery and harper won nothing and as such pigs had the same opportunityh to utilise their wingers.

not much between the teams over 90 mins, 2 own goals for us made the difference really

but on your main point, harper hasnt yet looked fantastic but he also hasnt looked that bad so lets give him a chance eh

Thought he was excellent in the last 10 minutes, but to be perfectly honest, I didn't really notice anyone (bar Davies) in the rest of the match!

It's like looking at one of those magic eye pictures. Look too closely at one dot and you'll see sod all, look at it all and you'll see a 3-2 win against the pigs 8)

How could you not notice Davis? I think he's been styled by kills with that bonce!

As for harper I believe he is still unfit and should become better by more game play

I also think that Harper is not quite up to the fitness of the rest of the first team, but on a couple of occasions last night he threaded passes through on the ground for the forwards, I think we will see him steadily improve his fitness over the next few games.

Interestingly I can see why the 'Plastics' nicknamed him 'The Pointer' he does an awful lot of 'Pointing'

That's two games now that I've come away from and said 'Didn't realise Harper was playing', but we won both! So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

I did notice him on a few occasions in the final third. He was stood in acres of space screaming for the ball and not getting it.

Look at the difference between Harper and most of our other central midfielders, when theres a long ball up in the air, all of our other midfielers will just head it back into the middle, Harper at least tries to get it down and play it on the floor.
