Pretty unequivocal. And pretty unequivocally wrong.

It's a bit like saying "I'm going to kill him" not being a literal threat every time though. We all understand that context and I can see that in this.“He’s gone and the blame lays at the door of COH”

I think if Wilder gets another job, he wants to look for more intelligent friends. This the same Wit that was telling everyone wilder was staying 24 hours before his sacking announcement?
They aren’t United fans. In it for themselves over everyone else.
Its Feyenoord he wants to go back to but PSV are more likely to offer the fee we want.I’m not an out and out Hamer fan ,don’t get me wrong he’s been a star for us , he shows glimpses of brilliance, his tackling is woeful and probably lacks the athleticism to be a premier league star ….. but he seems a real 100% committed to the club type of lad and believe that the only move he would really want is back to PSV , heard this from a Coventry lad who knows him from his days down there … he for one in these days of player power and downing tools seems to be cut from better stuff and have little doubt he’ll give less than his usual 100%
I wonder if other managers have vocal close friends?I think if Wilder gets another job, he wants to look for more intelligent friends.
I think that's why it was a good decision by Wilder to play Hamer on the left side. He didn't have those defensive responsibilities. It didn't help Burrows, but we had Souza for that.Minority opinion alert: Gus is more athletic than he looks and fit enough to put in a shift. He's deceptively quick in full flight - just looks like he's going to be slow given he has a naturally stocky build (a bit like Maradona).
I agree he picks up too many stupid bookings as his defending is woeful and he can go missing in some games. No doubt he's a mercurial talent though. I think to get the best out of him you don't assign him a position - just tell him to go out there and have fun!

I'm sure Mr Whitethorne would keep it quiet if Wilder got the job in Glasgow he was rumoured to be linked toI wonder if other managers have vocal close friends?
Makes me wonder if it also is a consideration of owners when appointing managers/staff.

Yes it could. I ain't jumping in two footed here and I think he's a dickhead![]()
That's generous.Half-Wit ?
Finally some common sense! Although O'Hare might have to sit out, he can easily replace either Hamer or another and we have a serious threat from the bench. I definitely think we should go with a 4231 type formation whether that 3 is in a diamond with a false 9 or similar could be an option too if Ings is the "1" and 2 wingers.I think the best place for him would be in a free role in a 4231 but more centrally.
Unfortunately that would mean OHare sits out for a bit but he would have the defensive cover behind him of two of Peck Matos or Soumare
We’d have more structure with width down either side and Hamer could just wander and get on the ball as much as possible and link eveything up
I saw you managed to get your thread about Wilder deleted this morning - good call from you! But, it's got to be said, you really don't like Wilder do you?All Wilder stirring the pot. Anything 'shit' says comes directly from the horse's mouth
No, not really, but that thread shouldn't have been written. I think it's a fair question to wonder why one of his best friends has been spreading false rumours though. It seems a stretch to think he'd be very publicly doing it if he'd been told not to.I saw you managed to get your thread about Wilder deleted this morning - good call from you! Disagree. Doesn't seem a 'stretch' at all to me. If my best mate had been sacked from work in similar circumstances not sure I'd be overjoyed with his employers. But hey oh, it's all about opinions. Would you say these things to Chris's face though? Honest question, cos if you would, i'd take what you say a lot more seriously. No, not really, but that thread shouldn't have been written. its clear to me that he just blagging this & piggy backing off other people's rumours & pretending their his ownThink he really should stop claiming to be ITK as it appears to be a wild guess or regurgitated information from another source, usually claiming that he has an inside line from the club.
Don’t think you’re far off the truth there. If anything he’ll have been keeping his ear to the ground on the Veerman to Brentford transfer.its clear to me that he just blagging this & piggy backing off other people's rumours & pretending their his own
it wouldnt surprise me if Hamer had no idea about leeds in the final day's. because in hindsight we know about his schedule.
Friday - travel to Middlesbrough
Saturday - captains sheffield united, flies to Zandvoort
Sunday - Watches Dutch GP & Flies Back
Monday - Training
