Don’t think you’re far off the truth there. If anything he’ll have been keeping his ear to the ground on the Veerman to Brentford transfer.

Seems fairly obvious he’s not really interested in another UK move and wants to move nearer his family. I’d be delighted if he ran down his contract and went on a free back home. He’d be 30 by then so should be spoilt for choice of clubs.

if he wants to go back to Feyenoord, the club i believe he supports & played for as a kid. he has my full support
