What, the content creator bracket? Not for Ramble. I'd say more Parasite/Pariah bracket, but then again I am a member of the cesspit so 🤷‍♂️

(apologies, edited as I tarnished the far superior SUW)
I meant that I don’t think that they try and click bait their posts and content. It only seems concrete rumours get a vid and they babe done some really good ex player interviews that I really enjoy and no pay walls

Agreed. It's informative football content that covers a subject we all care about in a way that feels genuine and inclusive. It isn't content farming or forced

Agreed - and also feel that by how Hal acts on here he really wants the rest of the fanbase to feel included/involved
I think he wants to provide the best content possible for fans.

I suspect Shambles' motivation is more self-serving. I hear he already posts videos about himself. This self-obsession is what I hate.

Jimmy Ramble and all his ilk are what they are. I find it strange that people ramble on for an age, about stuff they have no evidence about

Any way, just about to book a night out for me and the Mrs

Biggest difference between Ramble and SUW, Red Half, Tufty Club etc. is Ramble is trying to make it his living, while the others are doing it as a hobby/side gig. Obviously Jimmy is going to try and monetise and produce loads of content. That's how you make a living as a content creator.

It's a childish thing to say, but really, if you don't like it, just don't click.

Which would be fine, if he wasn't:
  • monetising tragedy
  • acting ITK and shouting about it all over twitter to push towards the Patreon
  • had that whole thing where he labeled the forum a cesspit

Hard to give him any level of a pass after that

It sounds like the Solomon deal is a loan with obligation IF promoted. Seems like sound planning to me, especially given the financial situation around our loss of Parachute payments.
This is where I disagree Ron

We don’t go up, Solomon goes back, we are a player short along with no parachute payments next season.

We bring decent money in selling Hamer we should buy a replacement not loan one in my view

I just see it as a race to the bottom.

Just caught up on about ten pages of this, because the thread I initially looked at firmly and repeatedly implied Hamer was leaving.

I've seen no evidence Hamer is leaving in this Hamer thread.

As I understand it, the Hamer deal is a loan with Obligation. We get money, next year, when we need it.

I think the days of United buying players for £15 / 20 m are well gone (unless we get back to the PL) if you look at the history of players we have bought for that amount there is only Hamer thats been a relative success even Berge was borderline the likes of Brewster and McBurnie have totally fucked us in that regard

Just think if we had loaned Brewster instead of buying him it would have saved us north of £30M

If the deal with Solomon is from what we know is we have the option to buy if we go up. It is a good option and gives us some wriggle room if we dont with the loss of Parachute income

All of which are solved by you not clicking. All social media platforms have a mute function. If it bothers you that much, you can mute him.

Dislike him all you want, your moral compass is yours alone, but you don't HAVE to engage.

Right great and when he's involving himself in major discourse about united? Forcing himself front and centre like he did tonight about the Hamer stuff?

I've been online most of the day, I follow his YT, I've been all over Twitter and here. I've honestly not seen a single post from him today. I've genuinely no idea what you're alluding to.

If it is fair enough Ron, but that doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Could be wrong but I think it will be a straight sale, if he goes that is

Not sure where the story started, but l read earlier today that he's available for a loan with an obligation of £15-£20M. He's not agitating to go, but would entertain PL football.

FWIW, being available and actually going are two very different things.

I told you, sign up to my patreon to find out more. For just £40 a month I will tell you what this forum and social media are saying and pass it off as real news.

Hamer needs to be played in his most effective position with supporting cast alongside him, and just as importantly, he needs to be personally happy. Get thise two things in place, he can be an excellent Championship player. If one of those things isn't right, he looks a passenger.

I'm hoping it still come right for him at SUFC but he hasn't looked happy this season. Something seems to have changed with him, and maybe hes more receptive to a change of clubs now, especially with the club being in a state of flux with people going and all sorts of transfers incoming now finally happening.

I like Gus, I hope he stays, but if he does go, I'll just wish him well and hope we all move on quickly.
Encouraging to see the comments today about more signings being likely, to supplement Hamer. You could argue that for most of his time here, he hasn't had adequate quality around him.

Then, we amongst a better squad last season, he was played out of his preferred position and asked to do a far more demanding, athletic role than he is otherwise used to.

I'd love to see us use him properly and surround him with a lickle bit o' qualiteh.

I heard Hal is prepared to fight Ramble to decide who is king of the Blades creators.
Ramble certainly has the weight advantage but I wouldn't like to fight Hal. Hal looks like the type that just flip mental at any moment, pull a blade out and slice you up like a stick of Pepperami.
