So Rona are his boyhood club but they are the one club he wouldn’t play for ??

I’m normally easy to confuse but this one really has got me lol

For some reason I thought he was a Galatasry fan, don’t know why
 
So we can't buy players due to the takeover, but we can still sell players...

Not sure of Roma's financial situation but they haven't spent more than 10 million euro's on any player in the last two seasons and only spent 30 million euro's in total across the last two seasons. Would be a significant change to stump up 25 million euro's on a player that has spent most of his career so far in the championship.
 
We need to sell one at least under the Prince. May be a signifier of the likelihood of the takeover, or the incoming parties intent, more than anything as I imagine any incoming party would be desperate to retain Hamer for any promotion push.

Is the release clause that high?
 
Would imagine that if Hamer goes, that will make his best mate O'Hare much less likely to want to come here.

But equally, I'd imagine that if Hamer has been told we're going to get his best mate O'Hare in to play alongside him, that will make him much less likely to want to leave.

Just a case of which of those factors is stronger. Have to hope that bromance conquers all.

I haven't seen any sighting of Anel on any of the training footage so far.
 

Tin hat on. Hope im wrong but what trees did Gus pull up last season ? No calmness on the ball,no long/short meaningful passes,went missing in games for long periods,caught on the ball a few times,no command of the midfield,poor positioning. I was hoping for much better and he really disappointed me,yes he was playing in a shit team with an overrun midfield but in my opinion he never stood out. Coventry fans loved him but that was the massively inferior championship.

I kinda of agree. He did look all those things but which player on the planet wouldn't have in that line up. He started to look good with Arblaster and to form a partnership in the Premier League with "crap" around you is about as hard as there is in football. If they had played together in the promotion year and built a partnership there, I feel he would have looked better in his Premier League debut. He did have moments of brilliance which gave us all hope. This season, if he stays, I think will change your mind and those trees will get pulled up.
 
Probably the same as most unless you are looking through blade tinted glasses . BBD,excellent at times ,Arblaster,huge potential,George,decent but injury prone,JLT decent at times,Bogle decent at times,,Wes,great end to the season or it would have been 8 every game,Mcburnie,headed a lot away in our box (when playing) . Erm,Erm, Hamer,Small glimpses,that’s it I’m fucked. Any other suggestions ?

Yep,kinda agree on that reasoning as well,but we need god knows how many more to make us look a good side and change the way we predictably play. Unsure about Brooks whether he can make it,again potential there but went backwards quickly.
