Outgoing? Hamer

I'd rather keep him but this is the most we will get for him, we don't seem to know how to use him, he's probably never going to be consistent enough for The Premier League and we're obviously having a huge rebuild.

Like I said, I'd rather keep him but I can absolutely see the logic in selling him now. This is as good as he's going to get. Leave it 12 months and his value halves
The value of the club might have halved by the end of this season.

All these new players have one thing in common, Sellés will be telling them how to play
Let's hope they're receptive and we start to see the style we were promised.

It does seem that the team is being significantly (though belatedly) overhauled with Selles' choices.

Which begs the question: will we miss Hamer if Sellesball proves successful?

There doesn't appear to be a consensus as to his best position, he's hardly Mr Press and it seems to me that the side often looks unbalanced with him shoe-horned in 🤷

Well FK me...

Let's just hope Chong, Solomon and Matos can fill the gap. Right now, we've only got Chong, and Gus he ain't.

Not a dig at Chong btw, but they're VERY different players....

Nearly a done deal to Leeds apparently. Dismisses the 'personal issues' angle.

Not sure it does?!

Separated but would still be able to live in close proximity to his kid.

Someone above said his personal issues "limited his club options". Not sure where his Mrs. is from and whether they still visit Netherlands much but if so, Leeds/PSV sound like the realistic options
🤷‍♂️

Perhaps my message was badly worded. I meant that personal issues being the driving factor behind the move. Didn't meant it dispels the notion he has personal issues.

Would Hamer be the last of the Premier League big earners off the books?

Perhaps covering ourselves from that angle.
Almost certainly, although Ings will be on decent money.

There was a rumour that we'd renegotiated Hamer's deal last January to remove a release clause but put him back on his PL salary to compensate him. If that's true it might explain why we're considering offers and the loan with an obligation would allow us to book the profit next year when we'd have the parachute payment hole in the finances if we don't get promoted.
