Had enough me. Bollox to it.

OP is one of a series of immature and hysterical over-reactions recently which seem to be increasing on the boards - like leaving the forum ( and then posting even more than before). Shit stirring ? Attention seeking ? - don't know, don't care.

Why would any self-respecting Yorkshireman throw an item which cost money and still has use in the bin - ebay maybe, bin never.

If perennial membership of the Premier League, Champions League and all that is what you desire then you picked the wrong club. Could I suggest following Manchester United or Arsenal on the TV. Football like life has its ups and downs (and for most its more of the latter) so grow up, suck it up and get on with it. And if you have had enough just go - no need to make a drama out of it.

Completely sympathise with the OP. Every time we lose (which is far too often to challenge for promotion) the disgruntled are accused of spitting the dummy out after one defeat.

Well keep cheering failure and you'll keep getting just that.

Malaise forever.

so your plan is to boo before every game hurl constant abuse , and change managers again ,
force the board to quit and bring in a oil billionaire

whats his name

Don't be so precious. Who said anything about booing? I've never boo'd United in my life! It's counter productive.

I haven't even advocated a change of manager. I've been quite public in my strong opposition to criticising our manager whom I trust implicitly and believe is the absolute best man for any job in our division.

The point I was making (which was certain to fly over your head because the club is beyond reproach to you) is that our supporters are not obligated to accept failure and have a right to a critical opinion. Our supporters more than most deserve that right.

just tell me how constant criticism improves things
we are sixth theres three quarters of the season to go teams in 11th and 12th will still think they can go up

why are we so keen to write ourselves off

I've been a supporter for nigh on 60 years, it's all part of the learning process. You learn the heartache of being a Blade. But just now and then, about once every 10 or 15 years something happens to make you the proudest person in the world. I treasure those moments, and wouldn't trade em for any other team. Keep the faith.

"why are we so keen to write ourselves off"

Probably because the season started (again) with such optimism following the signing of Adkins, however, in reality, we have a poorly equipped, bloated squad and little obvious appetite to make the major changes that will make it competitive for the top two positions in this agricultural division ......

To be fair I get the sentiments of the op. After the game today I said "I'm not being treat like a mug by this club anymore" but if course I will. Its horrible. I'd love not to care so much and I genuinely don't believe the club, board, staff or players deserve the emotional and financial investment that I put in but you just can't switch it off. The bastards

Please allow me to award you 10,000 likes for that post mate ....... spot on !!

In response to the first bit.....if no one ever criticised you it would be easy to carry on regardless. That never works in any walk of life. They play a sport for a living and are paid a right wedge to do it. Most people give a large portion of their earnings to watch them.....they can take criticism when it's deserved as far as I'm concerned.

In response to the last part, has history taught you nothing? I could ask the same question of the club. A wise man once said that those who don't learn from their history are doomed to repeat it. Our club has been backing that notion up for a long time.

LOLOLOLOLOL

actually you have cheered me up with this, it's given me a laugh seeing some of the daft bastards on here fall for it. Doubt you will get as far as the semis like wot we tend to do, but enjoy your moment while it lasts. UTB!!!

but you setting the bar too higfh to start with and having expectations that wed walk is your own fault , not the clubs

and despite your claims the club is trying to offload the unwanted and bring in more quality
just its not something that can be done in a week

He'd never mentioned walking the league.

the clubs got us in the top 7 every season 3 play offs , yes weve failed to go up but its not for the want of trying
Im as frustrated as anyone we have failed to go up , but to say the clubs showing lethargy about it is way off the mark

we will win a play off one season as did preston on their 10th attempt
theyd been as apathetic as our club no doubt
