I doubt he’ll come back from where ever it is that he’s going to. His departure is being stage managed I reckon. He’s certainly not a championship level striker anymore and that is the level we require. Unless we loan him to Rotherham or Wigan or Blackburn, it’s a waste of time. He’ll go out to a team near where he lives & we’ll ‘facilitate’ a full time move in January, by which time he’ll be 30, a free transfer with us paying the difference in wages and he’ll see out the last 3 yrs of his career.

He didn't to enough to start last season but by all accounts he was a good bloke to have around, and he played through an injury early season when we had a striker shortage. Good luck to him wherever he goes
