As we and Grimsby can no longer qualify, the sanctions, if any, should be minimal. I'll be a bit peeved if we play any of our current first 11 tomorrow.

They want to take their lead from Tennis. When a Davis Cup tie has been settled in the first 3 or 4 matches, the remainder revert to 3 sets instead of 5.
I propose this game goes straight to penalties.

I would happily accept the fine as long as it's given to charity, otherwise I'd insist we are banned from the competition (hopefully we won't even qualify for it next season).

I also saw Coutts, Fleck and Duffy take knocks so if Lafferty has as well then yesterday might not have been as perfect as it seemed.

If the fine's likely to be less than 5k then there's even less reason for us to field a strong team. As ridiculous as the fine is, it'd be equally ridiculous if we risked key players to avoid paying something like 2/3k.

The club should run a competition for fans to enter to have a chance of playing for the first team. The entry fees could pay the fine. And it would thoroughly take the piss out of the competition.

It pays for the FA's Christmas Party.

Screw the checkashit trophy and field any old team. The cup is devalued even more so than it was before despite more prize money on offer. £1million in prize money is crap and the prize money for winning the FA cup is not much better despite a new title sponsor for that.

The FA and EFL need to get to get this shit sorted and offer a better incentive for clubs to be involved.

these rules are unequal

how can they dictate who plays for us when there are 12 teams that are playing 11 who rarely feature in league games ie the under 23 teams
surely in a cup competition the rules should be the same for all teams competing
we play an arduos fa cup tie on the saturday and cant rotate but these teams who might not had a game can select who they like
that is grossly unfair

surely these banners need amending
