Well Ive given up radio Pig and the wendy Star and my life is better for it ,last night was my last Blue un. All pigs on the front page but on the Blades page inside they managed to put a letter from an 'anonymous blade' just slagging United off. This is the local team who are unbeaten page filling on our information page. On the pig page they havent even put their results on ,wonder why' and filled it with pictures. Tell me this isnt edited by grunters and ill tell you your a liar ,would even wipe my arse on it.

The Online headline for the Stir "Wednesday Win Again" so thats twice in a miserable season. meanwhile United headline in this so far unbeaten season Sheffield United 2 - Bristol Rovers 1!!

Says it all Sitters, best advice I can give is stop listening and reading and enjoy Blades chat on here.

I would even extend this Blades disinterest to the TV companies, we get little or no mention on the Championship due to the love in with all the Mockney Managers of Preston, Stevenage et al, yet who are the only unbeaten team in the football league? I give you the RED AND WHITE WIZAAAAARDS.

Maybe crap but not biased. Traditionally The Star's sports dept (which also writes for the Green Un) has had very few Blades on it. It is more pigs, Man Utd and of course Chelsea now.

I don't think they're setting out to be biased but I do think there is nobody shouting the Blades corner in the same way pigs have.

For example for many years their reports have been far more passionate about their fans, because their writer is a fan.

It's also why you see the farce of Man Utd referred to as United in our local paper - which was the straw that broke the camels back for me. Very few Sheffielders in key roles in the paper and fewer still Blades.

On a more general note they have axed staff so they tend to chuck all sorts in to fill a page cheaply.

i seem to remember when we were in the premier/division one not sure what it was called then, leeds played pigsday in division two and ytv called it the cup final of yorkshire (or something similar). kept banging on about it deciding who was the best team in yorkshire. muppets.
