I like this review of the now legendary ANDERTON ....

What an awful pub, truly horrid and obnoxious staff. Not only were they drinking bottles of beer behind the bar but there general attitude was terrible. It's the sort of place that even a local tramp (MC Roge) would turn his nose up at. There was a horrible aroma about the place, sort of like rotting rubbish, such as you would smell around the Merseyside area. Avoid at all costs.
