Great performance by your guys tonight!

Have to admit i thought Spurs would win tonight, but I, more than anyone, should know to never underestimate the underdog. Congratulations, great result. Gives confidence that you'll more than hold your own in the Prem next season.
To be honest…so did we

I reckon you would have beat Spurs at your place going off their performance last night.

Possibly. But we will never know as Wrexham weren't playing Spurs last night other than in the imagination of a few of their supporters who possibly refuse to believe that they are out of the cup cos the Disney channel won't allow that. Apparently they were knocked out in the last round by a much better team away from their vegetable patch and are as irrelevant now in this year's FA Cup as Sheffield Wednesday.

They have their 5 mins of fame in the cup. Best now to let them go back to entertaining Mickey Mouse and co at Disney, whilst leaving the grown up stuff such as quarter finals of the FA Cup to the grown ups. 😉

Reading so many replies by people who claim that it’s Wrexham fans who can’t get over us, yet still having digs at them.

I’ve never known us as obsessed with any other team this season! Get over it, two good games, a few dodgy ref decisions & the country wanted us to lose like most wanted Grimsby to win last night

Well done! And good luck with the rest of your season.
Looking back in the cold light of day, you gave us a better game than Spurs did.

Our goalie hardly had a shot to stop really. A few simple claims and a soft regulation one straight at him.

We could have genuinely been staring an exit if that second pen of yours went in.

Looking at the game now, Spurs never really crested any tangible danger.

Enjoy maidenhead on saturday
If any Wrexham fans are watching the honeypot is just around the corner from Maidenhead's ground. Interesting place. The staff don't wear many clothes and like to dance Infront of you. Personally I like my beer served in a more traditional way but it might be of interest

I think all United fans are 'over it' ( or whatever that means anyway). We won. I havent given a shiny shite about Wrexham FC since about 10pm on the day we won the tie, and it wasn't Blades fans moaning about Billy Sharp's post match comments. Nor are we commenting about Wrexham on their website unlike some Wrexham fans who kept coming onto a Blades fans site to have a pop at United or try and stir up some non existent rivalry. Truth is we have moved on from being 'rattled' (@ Wrexham fans). I have no idea how they are getting on in their league as they are irrelevant to me. That said, it is nice to remind any of them that come on here (reminder - this is predominantly a Blades fans site) tongue in cheek that they are out of the cup. Especially after all the arse kissing of some Hollywood actors (who I wouldn't know if they walked past me in the street) by the BBC and smarmy Lineker.

I think the phrase 'obsessed' that you used could just be a tad exaggerated.

Anyway, back to those Blades winning Spurs... do we need to try and get over Spurs now or do we need to be 'rattled' for a few days first after beating them too? What's the rules on this obsession and rattled thing? (that seemingly we still are).

I understand where you’re coming from but I’ve read comments on here ever since we played them & on social media. Some fans are borderline obsessed.

For me it was a proper cup tie with controversy, goals, almost a ‘giant killing’, heartbreak with last minute goals in both games. Great for the competition.

I don't see many comments on the whole about Wrexham on here as most (if not all) have forgotten about them and are much more interested about the Championship games again. Personally losing to Boro the other week and losing to a very avoidable goal at the New Den pissed me off and 'rattled' my cage about a hundred times more than any game in this year's FA Cup has. Those league games results hurt, whilst I just laughed and shook my head when we went behind late in the first game at Disney FC. The latter was hardly ever going to be a heart breaker for most of us. That said it was still very nice to equalise late and go through at BL but then I would want United to win at tiddlywinks if they played it.

I agree, the cup games were enjoyable and were a throwback to when the Cup meant something to clubs and fans, and it was nice to come out on top. What I do find slightly strange though is the number of times I see some fans who keep telling other fans that they are 'obsessed'/ 'rattled' or whatever when they have just made a comment on a Blades forum and in all probability don't really give a shiny. Just very odd. But yes, enjoyable cup games both.

Not really. I think the other poster is just having a tongue in cheek piss take and enjoying themselves whilst doing it.

Still if you want to kid yourself otherwise then crack on.
Possibly, but wouldn’t that be reverse psychology as well as irony, can that be done??Bit much for this time of day😂.
I’ll go with Millhouseblade and his views.
