I was at the game when TC sat on the ball, and also the previous year when Alan Ball did it to us...sweet revenge
I also saw TC snog with Birchenall at the Bramall Lane end.
I missed the 'quality goal by a quality player" but had the unspeakable joy of watching it on Match of the Day with a West Ham supporting friend...those were the days!!

Does anybody remember the game against Leicester (we won 3-0) when TC slid in and robbed Keith Weller in our area as he was about to score, he then turned and hit a 50 yard pass to Woody who ran on and almost broke the bar at the other end....all happened in a few seconds. The only time I ever heard Bramall Lane go quiet with awe.

Strange question Silverfox ! You watched him a lot so you'll remember he never "hoofed it" but played to feet, that was the skill that typified him and allied with his ball control, physical strength and shooting skills earned him his England caps. He was a flair player who seemed to have an uncanny ability to pass accurately whilst simultaneously blowing kisses to the crowd. We'll never see his like again at the Lane.
