1-0: 1-0: Martin Taylor hits a long ball forward. Both Morgan and Henderson are in a good position to clear, but strangely both leaves it. The ball bounces, Cleverley runs in behind and nods it past Bunn.

Morgan probably tells Henderson to leave it, but is either unable to jump because of his injury, or he thinks it will bounce on to Bunn.

2-0: A cleared ball is headed forward by Watford. Nosworthy and Fortune can't decide who's going to deal with it (see photo), Helguson steps in and scores. Oh dear.

3-0: Cowie curls a free kick into the box. A few players jumps for it, but nobody touches it, and it bounces in at the back post. Bunn is anticipating a header, and is thus on his heels as it bounces on.

These inswingers are often effective, and very difficult for goalkeepers to deal with. A tall defender with no marking responsibility could perhaps have attacked the ball.

Have we ever scored such a goal?

Exactly the same, aye. They're crumby looking goals but you have to credit the delivery more than criticise the defending.

I think that would have been simplistic.

I'm generally more concerned when we concede due to poor organisation. This was one set piece goal, where we at least didn't allow them a free header, and two hopeful punts forward where our defenders cocked up.

Looking at the goals alone, there probably wasn't a lot the management could have done to prevent them, and they didn't reveal specific weaknesses that other teams can look to take advantage of.

From "awful", "pathetic" or "terrible" to almost a positive for me!

As for the first goal, Henderson was in the best position to clear it and was set to head it out until he heard Morgs shout for it. Morgs then left it as he saw Hendo was getting set for it.

To reiterate Foxy amd Mousey's comments there was definately a shout. Henderson was about to head the ball and he ducked out of the way. The only reasonable explanation was a shout. Also Morgan's reaction backs this up.

The second is simply pathetic I thought Nosworthy was supposed to be quick? My granny would have reacted quicker. I blame him for this goal, but at the same time if Fortune had of been paying attention he could have stopped the danger.
