Get Wilder gone and stop the delusion.

Yet again we’ve had to watch an opposition manager make changes at half time and completely change the game while Wilder and co do, well, god knows what?

We need to thank him for getting us out of the relegation zone and send him on his way with the happy memories of his first spell as manager.

It’s time to move on and take time to reassure all aspects of the club and see how we can take a more modern approach and hopefully build for the future.

And can we please move on from the delusional view that we can still make the playoffs, it’s embarrassing and has been for weeks.
Who would you go for? I said that sacking Chris Wilder wasn’t the mistake it was who we replaced him with in Selles.I haven’t got any confidence in the owners to have any ideas or more importantly the football knowledge to get the next appointment right.Long term I’d agree CW isn’t the answer (and he’d probably say that himself)and a younger manager with different ideas should be looked at BUT personally I think CW has worked wonders this season to get us to mid table and safe after the disaster of Selles which has set us back at least a year. You really do have to be careful what you wish for.
Regards to play offs it was always a bridge too far for me and the way they’ve gone for us before I’m quite happy to leave others to suffer the disappointment of missing out on a promotion to a league i don’t really want to be in?

After hearing Rosen's speech the other day talking about how thankful he was that Wilder agreed to come back and what a mistake it was to sack him one thing's for sure, unless there's a catastrophic Selles-like run of games Wilder will be here for a while.
This is my fear and exactly what I was thinking listening to it. Wilder is going nowhere anytime soon but I don't hold this season against him. He was brought back and told to keep us up, he's done that.

I'm not trying to defend him, but after 3 games at the start of the season I think even the biggest Wilder hater wanted him back. It could be a lot worse - and I think that that statement is largely what's wrong as a club "it's not going catastrophically, therefore it could be worse, therefore let's stay as we are."

This is a big part of the problem. We need to bring in someone above first team manager level who can develop and implement a plan for the long term.
We will never progress until the Bettis/Wilder axis of power is removed

And Brewster when we needed a CH to replace JoC , instead of hoping JoC would miraculously recover , having played him injured

Play offs were never on mate, we all knew that, looking at this team its piss poor all over the team, defending been shit, slow piss poor midfield! Attacking wise take Bamford out and we would fighting to stay up! Chris got a stroke of luck signing him😊
