Its not a fact unless you put fact in the sentence - Fact

It doesn't matter if they wanted to claim it or sing it. The poll here is the definitive poll. It was agreed.

If you consider that 5% of the votes can be discounted as they pressed the wrong option, that leaves 95% of the vote which is effectively now 100% of the vote and if we assume that the 5% were the ones that voted for Rotherham these should be voided, it therefore proves that the actual of origin of the GCB was Sheffield United - FACT

The first time my Dad ever heard it sung was by the Rotherham Blades, which just confuses matters.

I agree first heard it sung by our good friends the Parkgate/Rawmish blades by the brothers with the same name as the Plant Hire Co.

Mummy and Daddy Plant Hire Co. must have been proud :)

(this bit not aimed at Studge) Who give a shit anyway, we are by far the most famous for singing it, I have never ever heard Rotherham sing it in my life.
and I haven't seen any proof that whats being said is Fact so I go with Blades all the way

No it isn't.

Yet another incorrect claim from a united fan about a song.

Yes united used it for booker before man u for cantona but they used it for paul mcgrath before that and before united used it for booker.

Just askedmy MD-life time Man Utd fan 35 year season ticket holder. He cannot recall the Stretford End ever singing that song about Paul McGrath....Villa did thou later in his career
