Need to stay away from this one, seems like a manager that focuses on the opposition and sells up any identity dependent on how the opposition play, leading to confusion and conflict.
 
The new owners couldn’t possibly be expected to choose a new manager unaided, so if it is true they want a change, they’re being guided by somebody with better knowledge than they have. There is speculation that might be Des Taylor, but we have no solid info, about anything, do we?
 
My only hope is that there's other names on the ring that haven't been revealed yet. That's assuming Wilder is going which just feels inevitable.

Fair point but he did have a much better record with several promotions on his CV plus about 15 years management experience under his belt.

It seems it's going to be O'Neil if the media are to be believed.

The only thing you have missed off that is the bit where you call me an embittered sacked member of staff. In reality the board yet again show they’re clueless unless your view is signing players based on a fat geezer who has never played or coached football at any level is a good judge of a player in Bulgaria of all places. Even their manage believes one of them won’t make it. High level championship dream on

I assume that's you commenting on the 3 youth signings and the rumours of a new Right Back? As far as we all know, they've been made using Data and AI - so who are you blaming for that that we don't know about?

I genuinely can't tell why you have such an issue with anything the owners have done. In the 6 months they've owned the club, they haven't had enough chance to put a stamp on anything - but I'm struggling to think of anything too negative they have done?

The fact that they’re signing players without getting another manager through a fat geezer on a computer is disturbing ( first thing I’ve mentioned about the board) coaches and scouts recruit a player in light of what the coaching team have when they arrive and how they can improve them

That's not true. In many post match interviews he acknowledged conceding goals from set pieces and said that it they were still not defending them properly then that was on him as they worked on them in training and the message must not be getting through. He did this loads of times.

So you have absolutely no idea what you're on about then.

"They've not got another manager" and you know that how? Until Wilders contract is settled they can't appoint anyone.

"Fat geezer on a computer" so someone doesn't understand AI

They can. It is not uncommon for the former manager to stay on the payroll until the end of their contract or until they get another job and ask to be released from their contract, whichever comes first. A manager I know well did exactly that last season before accepting another job offer several months later. I also know that Peter Reid and Alan Curbishley both did it for very lengthy periods back in the day.

They need to put out a press statement saying Wilder is staying and we fully support him or leave it to the bloke on a computer until we get a manager who can coach players he didn’t sign as for the players who got 90 points last season if a new manager can’t get a tune out of them he’s not fit enough to manage a squad that I think is very good.

Does he though? Outside of us in the Champ, Wilder hasn't succeeded. He's also not really succeed with us since he came back as we couldn't lay a glove on any of our promotion rivals, and even when we were winning games 90% of the time it wasn't comfortable or enjoyable
