If we go up he's not good enough for the premier league then we're stuck with the horrible bastard.
Not that it's happening, but how would we be 'stuck' with him? It would be a part-season loan, no more.

I don't care that he played for that lot or some think he's a decent footballer (not me!) He is a total and utter cunt I just can't see a happy end to this I'm afraid, no way am I clapping or cheering for this prick! What happened to having morals?
In other news Carlton Palmer is coming in as DoF and Kevin Muscat as defensive coach.
Weirdo.Just wanted to offer my view as a Wednesday fan.
No point going on about his off the field antics as it's well documented.
As a player I really rated him when he was with us. I thought that he was more than a target man and was a decent finisher. I think he'd do well for you to be honest.
Anyway, happy new year and good luck for the rest of the season lads and lasses.
Has having morals been an aged old Blade selection process?
It’s Baffling.
If he scores a dozen goals and wins us promotion it will be considered a master stroke..
If however it goes the other way and we flop this is going to be the decision every one points to as where it started to go wrong. (Whether that’s fair or not)
Huge huge risk taken by Wilder here, could seriously tarnish the esteem he’s held in amongst Blades fans.
A good tactical move for Wilder I think - if Madine helps us go up, great, everyone's happy. If not, and especially if it backfires badly, then Wilder's popularity suffers which makes it easier for him to jump ship to somebody with a bigger budget.
That chant will happen with the slight addition that he's our c**tLooking forward to him coming. I always enjoy the "Gary Madine, you're a cunt" chant
Strangely Wilder talks about pace a lot when signing players, especially when you look back at the deadline day two years ago with Donaldson, Cole and Sinclair. Much talk about having pace to get in behind.
Punching the initial CD on the board with a marker pen Wilder says, "He'll give us pace in behind.
Donaldson becomes United's tenth recruit of the summer window.
Boss Chris Wilder said: "We have watched Clayton a lot, most recently for Birmingham at Burton, and it is clear that he will be a useful addition for us. "He offers additional pace and power at the top end of the pitch and his Championship experience will be of value."
He must come on here then
That was last season.

Wilder has never said we needed pace up front ,that came from people on here. We have Washington but Sharp and McGoldrick are our biggest threats and they don't rely on pace ,it not conducive to the way we play.
He’s this seasons Hanson.
IN WILDER WE TRUST
We got Dowell for paceI was just providing examples. Just to show that as well as Madine he will also be looking for a pace option.
I reckon this is a wind up. It would split the fan base worse then Ched ever did. I for one will be booing the twat.
Seen some people saying Wilder should go over this signing. Obviously that's an insane view but I just hope we haven't as a club underestimated the feeling a lot of our fans have towards Madine. It really does have the potential to ruin our promotion bid if the fans end up turning against the manager or give out abuse to our own players.
I just don't think he's worth the risk at all.
