Could you drop any of the players from that game though>?

The same team has to start without question, couldn't fault a single player last night.

Read yesterday tat we had used most players this season in the prem, with 29. Doesn't surprise me at all

Great performance, what can i say!

S.Quinn is getting better every game he plays.

Pictures from last night can be found HERE

Match report up shortly.

Hahahaha :D

Not too many fans though! Apparently there were free coaches put on for them as well!

What the hell does there sign mean?

I would suggest it was a reference to Vincenzo Montella who's on loan from Roma to Fulham.

I think...

Un mito a Roma, un eroe a Fulham : A legend in Roma, a hero in Fulham

i've gone for squinny, thought he was outstanding except from the odd dodgy cross. Closely followed by stead.

CKR put in a good shout for a run in the first team for a while now i think, and with keef out i think he'll take advantage.

Thought montgomery had a very good game but i want to give a special mention to tonge because after a pretty poor first half (even though he scored) he picked up so much in the second and battled throughout and ran at players like he used too on a couple of occasions.

I wonder if there will ever be a time when we can play well and win a game without sharpy saying it's because the other team were crap.

I cant recall him saying those exact words :p

and i didnt think tonge had a poor 1st half thought he played well through out

although he definitley improved in the 2nd half!

I didnt even think Tonge played that well tbh, he played miles better against City at Home. Wasnt really the right pitch or game for him to get involved.

He still doesnt run with it or shoot enough. Althought im his biggest fan im also his biggest critic!

Squinny and Stead were ace.

And hopefully I won't get lots of sarcastic emails this week as I did last week!

I read a after match comment from Chris Coleman in the Express which made me laugh.
'You've got to expect a battle when you come north of the border' or words to that effect.
What bloody border?????????

Although I agree in principle...

that means they won't be able to come North so we can nick three points off them :)

Charlton, Arsenal and Fulham are welcome any time if we can get results against them as we have this season :D

I was thinking that its like they were going into a game with a bunch of hooligans or something

or maybe cos we dont play tip tap football!

i'd just like to add where did CKR long throw come from?

Great performance the other night.

My MoTM has got to be Jags. Was solid as a rock, never put a foot wrong and just looks 3 times a player in that position to CM. I think he could be a future England International at that position tbh.

Well pleased for Stead as well. Can't believe people were writing him off before he even kicked a ball and if he keeps playing like that the people who wrote him off will be keeping quiet.

Tonge and Monty are as I've said before the best CM partnership we can play. Tonge can do his playmaking role without really having to track back as much as Monty covers so much ground to win the ball back. CKR should start more at RM. If we keep his confidence up then he'll be quiet a player in that position.

Top performance and roll on Blackburn.

i went for geary never looked like they was going to get past the big man. he was always on up higher than there players for a header.

how good must he have felt after he cherged down that ball and every one in ground was shotuing his name.

I would love to have that feeling of bramall lane chanting my name but what blade wouldnt!

I still keep thinking about this game if we play like this for the rest of the season surely we will have no problem stayin up?

Jon Stead is the winner on 31.82%
Stephen Quinn second with 25%
Michael Tonge third with 11.36%

Thanks for voting everyone and there'll be another poll up in the Blackburn thread tomorrow :)
