The other players they hope to bring in were Lewis McGugan and Sammy Ameobi.
He said if they get La Fondre, McGugan and Ameobi on loan they will be unstoppable and will win the league.

He also said Bolton are a lower Prem/ upper Championship club and he said he's confident Phil Parkinson will take them back to where they belong. He sang the praises of Parkinson saying he has them organised and defensively solid, it's only up front and creatively that they are struggling.

His words about us were "according to Twitter Sheffield United are supposedly the biggest club in league 1 but we've beat then twice already and I can't wait to go to Bramall Lane next month and we'll embarrass them again".
Have they actually embarrassed us this season yet? We played them off the park first half on the opening day of the season and though we ran out of steam they only won thanks to a wonder strike.
Then in the cup they're full strength side beat a Blades team who rested 5 first teamers and were hanging on at the end.
Losing 1-0 and 3-2...... the shame of it.
The only embarrassing thing is his ridiculous comments

That guy was obviously born in 2001.

As for their possible signings.... they already had Ameobi and weren't top. Le Fondre in addition to Clough doesn't quite go together in a Parkinson team, Le Fondre replacing Clough would be weakening. McGugan's a tosser who won't fit into their dynamic.

Yep, which is why it'd be great if we built a gap over them.

Look at our next 3 games and compare with Bolton's. It's a great chance.
Its only afew weeks ago that we were saying the same, 3 very winnable games over Christmas and we could go clear at the top, we did and..... we did.

Just heard a Bolton fan on talksport ,called us the supposed big club of the division that they had already beat us twice and he can't wait to come to bramall lane and embarrass us again

He also stated once they sign Le fondre ameobi and some other player I can't remember no one can stop them
Do they still have a transfer embargo?

They haven't embarrassed us once this season. The only embarrassing reference I can think of when we've played them is the human shit stain that is Gary Madine.

Is he aware we've signed a good middy in Carruthers, a good young prospect from Man Utd and we're still in the market for more signings. We're top and still strengthening.

Our inability to mix it with the big boys has cost us before and I wouldn't bet against it happening again.

2011-12

Sheffield United 0-2 Charlton
Charlton 1-0 Sheffield United

Sheffield United 2-2 Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Sheffield United

Sheffield United 0-3 Huddersfield
Huddersfield 0-1 Sheffield United

Sheffield United 2-1 MK Don's
MK Dons 1-0 Sheffield United

Stevenage 2-1 Sheffield United
Sheffield United 2-2 Stevenage

So far this season we haven't beaten any of the top six and have failed to keep a single clean sheet.

Add that to the fact that Bolton have already beaten us twice and will come to Bramall Lane full of spunk, it's worrying.

"United lose their last two games against already relegated Chesterfield and MK Dons and have to settle for a play off place"

You can just see the headlines

I think I am with Mark on this. Get 90 or so points should be enough to see us up.

9 wins and 5 draws is 32 points
Plus the 56 point we already have = 88 points

To reach 90 points
From our final 19 games we need to target at least 10 wins
10 wins 4 draws and 5 defeats would give us 90 points.

I can't see us losing 5 to be honest.

Then again, I couldn't see Evans getting sent down, so what the hell do I know?
